Hello again!! I just realized it's been a year and a half since my last post. Oopsie! Well here is a quick review of what we've been up to in 2012. I'm not great at writing, and if you're like me you'd rather see photos anyway. So I'm just going to post photos and if you'd like to know what's going on, just click on it to enlarge.
Here goes...
In January we hotsed a wedding reception for our brother, Ethan, and his wife, Lindsay. They were married in December in Mesa, Arizona and then had an open house in Utah. It was really a lot of fun, and my mother in law, Kathe, did an amazing job decorating and planning it all.

December... And finally we're up to date! Whew. It's been a really busy and awesome year, of course there are many things I didn't post, but hopefully you enjoyed what I've shared. Mostly I just love showing off my kiddos anyway. I love them and Adam and I are so proud of them. We're also fully enjoying the Holiday festivites and Spirit this year...
And with that we'd like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!!

Celebration-Cowboy Style

Grace and Kaleb were totally excited about their birthdays this year. (been hearing "when is it going to be June" for months!) And when we decided on a Cowboy themed party their excitement was even stronger.
So first, I had to take some super cute photos for the invitations... And they look so fabulous I must share a few...

I had so many great photos it was hard to choose which to use. I had a lot of fun making the invitations...
In fact I had so much fun I did some posters as well...

I made lots, but won't post them all. I just love this photo of Elmo. He really sits like that, all the time!
Ok so on to the main event. I really had a lot of fun with this whole theme. We all love cowboy stuff and horses around here so it was easy to get into it. The kids helped me with planning too, including putting together the goodie bags, and setting up the day of the party.
They invited a few friends each and that adds up fast. But it made it that much more fun!
We had water gun shooting at plastic bottles, a gunny sack race and a game of red rover. The gunny sacks were the most fun. Even the adults got in on the competition!

I have a couple videos of the adult races, courtesy of our friends Tim and Janica Ormond

Ok, what's a party without CAKE!
Anyway, we had a fabulous day. Thanks to all our family and friends that joined Adam and I in celebrating our babies birthday's. I love them so much and can't believe they are 5 and 7 already. Sigh, it goes so fast.

Quick Update-Part 2

Ok. We left off in April...

Well Adam worked on Easter. So the kids and I went there to celebrate. Kaleb loved bouncing the balls around in the racquetball room. Grace enjoyed being a camera ham in her pretty new dress.

Adam and the other fireman dads had a fun surprise up their sleeves. They had bought play dough, candy and other goodies to set up a big egg hunt for the kids. Grace and Kaleb made out like candy bandits (as you can see from Grace's cheeks full of candy). It was a great day. I love my family and all the good friends we've made at the fire house.

In May Adam and Kaleb got to go on the Father and Son camp out!! They had a blast! Kaleb got to try a friends 4-wheeler, and found lots of horny toads.

I got to go with my hubby to the U2 concert (for free)! It was amazing! Not only was the music awesome but the show as well. It was super loud though, had to stick napkin pieces in my ears.
We've been keeping ourselves active... Kaleb doing P90x
Grace's floor routine at the gymnastic showdown...

And before I knew it school was getting out. My baby graduated preschool, and Grace finished 1st grade!(she's holding her name tag from her desk) I'm so proud of my smart babies. (but I really dislike that they won't stop growing for a moment.)

Now that's a good photo to stop with :) Next is my babes birthday celebration!! (it's a good one!)

A Quick Update-Part one

Ok, there's no way I can update everything that I would like to since October... So I will just do a few things here and there. I apologize for being out of the blogging world for so long.

Most of the winter was uneventful. At Christmas time we did have some fun family gatherings, including one at Incredible Pizza with Adam's family. Kaleb's preschool did a Christmas program and he had his own lines to say. And pardon my bragging, but he was the cutest one in the class! That's my opinion.

Grace decided to try a little gymnastics this year. She did a great job, she is a ball of energy and it was a good outlet for her. She's taking the summer off so we can play. She's thinking she wants to try dance next. Also she will start piano in the fall.

Adam and I did our usual cabin fever projects around the house. And tried to keep up with the kids. One of my projects was decorating Kaleb's room more. It's fire fighter themed (who'd have guessed?) and I needed a ladder. So 'Lub and Adam went to work to build me one. It turned out great and was the perfect size for my little fireman to carry.

In April, for my birthday, my mom took me on a scrapbook retreat. And although I was glad for the escape, I was a bit worried about it being quiet and boring with a bunch of old ladies. Boy was I wrong. These ladies had more jokes up their sleeves than I've seen in a long time. We had a blast joking and playing, watching movies in a theater room, hot tubbing, eating junk. Oh, and I got a little scrapping done too.
I went jogging one morning and the view was fantastic. This is the back side of Mt. Timpanogos On April Fools there were many pranks and costumes and jokes going around. The best was the "Yettie". At night one lady dressed in hunting gear and wandered around the cabin a few times making a strange sound (using a moose call). She scared the pants off a few gals. It was great.

You had to be there to get all the humor, but it was great. A good break from everyday duties.

There were enough mustaches to go around. Personally I think they are just too itchy.
Here's our work station, when we did scrap. Hi mom!
Getting ready for a movie! Thanks mom that was a fun trip! Can't wait to do it again in the fall.

Ok. The short update is longer than I intended. But there is more. So it will be continued :)
