In August, Brent was on staff for Wood Badge. The Wood Badge course is for adult volunteers to learn how to be better leaders and particularly how to help the Scouting programs run well. Brent was a Troop guide and had responsibility for the Fox Patrol. Brent had a wonderful experience with the other staff members and the people attending the training.
Jacob applied for and received the American Legion Eagle Scout scholarship for the Alaska region. At the Court of Honor in August, Jacob was awarded a certificate and congratulated on his earning the scholarship. Once he starts college, the money will go directly to the college he attends.
