Family Pics

The day before Raylee's sealing, one of my oldest and dearest best friends, Camille, used her photography magic and took some unbelievable pics of my family downtown at the Mesa Arts Center. My mom was really the one that wanted a new family pic, since our last one was before Justin's mission and completely granchildless. Now that we have two new additions it was definately time for a new pic. When Camille sent us the final proofs I was so excited and amazed at what a beautiful job she did. Well, to be honest I really didn't expect anything less because Camille IS SO TALENTED!! Thank you so much Camille for such amazing pictures and for capturing my family and little ones so perfectly! I would recommend her to anyone looking for the perfect photographer. You can check out her website "Camille Gould Photography" or her blog by clicking on the link listed on the side of my blog.

My Life

Loving this big eyed little girl who is growing so fast. She pulls herself up on everything, hates baby food, is really starting to crawl, weighs 18lbs and is only 6 lbs shy of her brother, the strongest little thing, looks older than she is and has an attitude to go with it and I just can't get enough of her.

I call this little boy my "human garbage disposal". He eats anything and everything, including the baby food sister won't eat, loves motorcycles, trucks and buses, loves to say "I help" and has to help with anything I am doing, loves going "night night", is becoming so talkative and clearer to understand, my favorite is when he says "I'm a mess" when he is dirty and "Have fun" when he says goodbye to someone, such an easy-going, observant little guy just like his dad and is STILL a total daddy's boy and I love him to death.

Thank goodness for double strollers...where would I be without one?

This last pic is really, really disgusting, but the story of my life with a dental student as a husband. Brett was doing his oral surgery course and wanted to get a head start in suturing. My dad, being a doctor and an excellent stitcher, decided to give him a few pointers. After hanging out with my family and going out to dinner, Brett stopped at a Food City on our way home to run in and get something. First of all, it wasn't just a something it was a really big, disgusting cow tongue that cost a whopping $11. Him and my dad spent the rest of the evening practicing different suture techniques on my kitchen counter...how gross is that?!! I am so glad Brett found it completely fun and fascinating and couldn't get enough of it because I stayed a good distance from him and the "surgery" area until I knew he had completely sanitized my whole kitchen. I am so proud of Brett for continuing to do so well in school and has such a strong desire to be a dentist. I just can't wait until he's working on patients in an office and not on cow tongues on my counter.

More Spring Break Fun

We decided to end Spring Break with a bang, so on Thursday we headed up to Pinetop with our friends, The Cox's, to hang out with my parents and enjoy some fun in the mountains. I'm bummed I didn't get any pics of the Cox's, but here are some of the ones I did get.

Spring Break

Since, Brett began his Spring Break this weekend we have done some pretty fun things. Friday, the whole Flaherty fam went bowling with some of the kids (we decided to leave all the little girls home with a babysitter). I forgot my camera, but I got these cute shots of Bob helping Bradock bowl...priceless.

On Monday, Kiley, Terri, and I took Grady, Carson, Bradock, Raylee and Avery to the Wildlife World Zoo and Aquarium out in Phoenix. The kids had lots of fun. I think the zoo is becoming one of my favorite places.

You sure can get up close and personal with the giraffes here. Man those things sure have long tongues.

We can't go to a petting zoo without Bradock giving the goats a good hug.

Could this kid be anymore excited?!!

Bradock thought it was so cool that this lama kept looking at him straight in the eye.

Raylee was having so much fun in the petting zoo with Grandma Terri.

Bradock and cousin Avery having fun sliding down the slide at the playground.

I took this pic in the aquarium where we got to see lots of cool fish and white alligators. The kids are starting to get really tired and aren't really excited about me taking more pics of them.

Raylee finally gave up the fight and ended up in this awkward position to take a little nap.

On Tuesday, we drove down to Tucson with Sarah and Chance to visit my parents who were staying at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort for my dad's medical conference. The guys played in a team golf tournament, while us girls and the kids hung out at the pool and played.
