My dad has been setting up camp at a watering hole in hopes of shooting a buck. 10 days of all day sitting and he finally got his deer that was worth the waiting. According to Brett and Chance it's a really nice looking buck. Chance took some cute pics of Rig sitting next to it.
This kid is getting to big for his baby tub. He's just climbing right out of it and trying to eat the tub all at the same time.
We rode on the quad and headed to the school playground to play. Rig wasn't too sure about the sand and just sat and stared at it. It took a long time for him to finally warm up to it and start crawling in it.
I picked up a jar of pickled asparagus at the farmers market and looked who ended up being a big fan. Rig couldn't get enough:)
Summer weather brings yummy berries and we were on the search for some good blackberries. We always hear of people going berry picking so we decided to try our hand at it. Well our search ended up being just a fun family hike because we found no blackberries. I think we went too late in the season and weren't in the right location. Oh well, we had fun discovering some hidden forts.
We got nominated by the Larsons to do the recently famous ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The challenge was to dump a bucket of ice water on yourself and donate $10 to ASL or opt out of the bucket dumping and donate $100. Brett and I decided to just donate the $100 but we got to much harassment from the Larsons. So late that night we did the challenge. It was already chilly that night so it made for an even colder time. Here some still shots from the video we recorded. As you can see I got most of the ice water.
When you gotta get laundry done you get the baby to help:)
