June

We spent a weekend in Logan putting up this shelter and enjoyed having a sleep over with the cousins. Eliza was the worst staying awake and making noise and not staying in her sleeping bag, while everyone else was trying to sleep. Once she was in put in the port a crib and couldn't run around she did better.

We got a kid pool and Eliza enjoyed splashing around in it and could probably do it for hours.

July

July we had a great time watching the fireworks and enjoying the 4th of July celebrations. Philip and Eliza searched for some coins to fish at the fishing booth. Eliza made a tool kit from Home Depot. She is still not a fan of the loud and bright fireworks, but enjoyed watching  the street fireworks from our living room window. Lily didn't seem to mind them much.

For some reason I don't have any pictures of us on our Closner reunion trip in Washington. I am hoping people will read this and send me some. Thanks.

We spent some time on Philip's Grandparent's property in washington. His Dad lives there in the summer and we had a nice visit with him. To celebrate Eliza, Grandpa Steve and my birthday he took us all up in his airplane, Eliza cried for the first part and then fell asleep in my arms the rest of the trip. Lily also slept through the flight.

We stopped by the resort Philip's family managed while he was growing up. He said things seem a lot smaller then he remembered.

We then headed to Wyoming to visit the Jameson reunion. It was fun to see cousins and their families. Eliza had a great birthday sharing it with cousins and she was really excited about the horse she got and kept saying hee hee.

Philip took me out for a date and I had lots of fun shooting. I need more practice though, I didn't hit the target as much as I should have.

Eliza is a great car washer.

May

May was such a fun month with mom and dad coming home from their mission.

We blessed Lily on Mother's Day at their home with Jordan and Abby also blessing Jaclyn as well.

Eliza is a big helper these days and wants to help take care of Lily by feeding her, giving her a pacifier, fetching diapers and throwing them away, Helping with diapers didn't last long though.

April

April seems like we had all kinds of weather. We enjoyed the snow and went sledding and Philip made a snowman. The next day it was pretty much all gone. Eliza's first time sledding and it took a few times for her to enjoy going down the hills. Lily stayed warm, bundled in her car seat.

We spent lots of time with family. Audrey and Emmaline came to visit. We went to the aquarium and Eliza was enthralled with the sharks. It was fun to see her enjoy animals so much. We went up to Logan to get Mom and Dad's house cleaned and ready for their return from their mission. We spent some time at the children's tree house museum in Ogden.

Eating the Kitchen sink was delicious and even better when it is fed to you.

Philip's Grandpa Reichert had his 90's Birthday party and we love to see them when we go up to Logan.

Eliza loves to be outside and especially swinging.

march

This is a family picture we took  earlier this month. Philip is sporting a beard so that he can have a mustache for a day with his other reserve squad co-workers. I requested he grow a full beard and shave off the rest the day he wanted the mustache. His beard is multicolored with lots of red. I didn't like the mustache so much. He probably will not grow it out again.

Celebrating Jordan's Birthday with the siblings.

Welcoming Lily Anna Reichert to our family. She weighed 8.9 oz 21 inches long. My fist thought when I saw her was she looks so different from Eliza. She has lots of beautiful soft hair and some rolls to her body. She love nursing and sucking on her binky. She is a sweet baby and so fun to have in our home. Also my breast feeding experience was quite different. I has little anxiety problems and things seem to be so much smoother and I recovered faster.

Eliza wasn't too sure about the new addition and was more interested in trying out the baby's car seat. she warmed up quick and its so sweet to see these together. Eliza enjoyed having visitors to play with and Emmaline helped encourage her to take off walking a day after Lily came home. We rearranged the furniture so things were a little closer to get to and chasing after a cousin was motivation enough.

Every time I see Lily's picture on the right, I think of Jesus.

At the library we made Eliza a hat and once she had it on she didn't want to take it off. She loves books. She likes to be read to, but also can be found reading to herself many times. We also like to hang out in our pajamas all day. Eliza loves her dad's donald duck shirt and points to him and kisses him many times
