Women Run Arkansas

Several friends and I participated in a clinic that teaches you how to run properly and is finished up with running a 5K. This was my second race and went much better for me than the first one. It was a "girly" race for sure! They had cooling stations where you could also pick up little samples of lip gloss....how cool is that!!!???

Adventures in Babysitting

Luke and I spent the morning together while Jason and Shawn went running and Stacy was busy with a painting project. We went to Target for an Icee and popcorn; we picked up a kite to take to the park. I am a terrible kite flyer and couldn't get it in the air, but it was still a fun morning with my little buddy! (Turns out Luke is a pretty good photographer...he was very curious about my camera)

Bridal Shower

I went to the vilage and helped Mom and Jamie decorate for a bridal shower. We worked like mad, but I think it was all worth it. It turned out beautiful!

Toad Suck Daze

We had a great time at Toad Suck this year. It was hot and CROWDED but still fun. We watched a puppet show, Jamie ate animal feed (courtesy of Sam), corn dogs, sand piles, snow cones, cheesy kid rides, etc....Then finished the day at Chick-Fil-A where I had the pleasure of climbing in the top of the slide to help Sam....Fun times!!!

Cinco De Mayo

May 5th was a very busy day for Jason and me. It started out running a 5K in the morning, then meeting up with family to attend Toad Suck Daze, and then hosting a Cinco De Mayo party for around 43 guests. Here are a few pictures from the party decorations.
