Tulsa

Here are a few pictures from our trip to Tulsa to visit Granny. We took the boys to the zoo while Granny was at the salon and Jennifer made a grocery store trip. When everyone met up again, we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. Granny likes to sleep in, so the next morning we took Jacob and Sam to a water park for some fun in the sun. Later, we went to Incredible Pizza where Granny ate more watermelon and cantelope than you can imagine!

This weekend we went to St. Louis with our friends Kevin, Tonya, Donny & Jeni. We stayed directly across from the Stadium which was very handy! The first night, we had great seats in the AG Edwards Box that Kevin arranges through his company. On Saturday's game, Jason and I sat twelve rows up from home plate. We later ate a nice dinner at Mike Shannon's to celebrate Saturday's win.

They were Kung Fu Fighting!

Today Mom, Jacob, Sam, & I went to the IMAX Theater to see Kung Fu Panda. It was Samuel’s first time to go to the movies and I felt very lucky to have been there for one of his 1st! He didn’t last long though; about 10 minutes into the movie he was passed out on Mom’s lap…Jacob was glued to the movie and was very interested the entire time. When we left the movie, Mom surprised the boys with Kung Fu Panda bags that contained their own stuffed Panda to take home as a reminder of our fun day together.

We’re headed to St. Louis along with Jeni, Donny, Kevin, and Tonya on Friday. The girls decided that we would buy cute/sparkly t-shirts when we got to St. Louis to wear to the games we’ll be attending, but when I looked online they were expensive and a little showy for my taste. If you know me, you know I love a crew neck! So, today we made our own t-shirts which we bought from the $7 table at Target and then ironed on our own St. Louis designs. Visiting Uncle Jason @ the dentist

Jacob and Julia came to see Jason today. It was Julia’s first visit and she did really well considering how old she is. Jacob said that he was going to the dentist but couldn’t tell us who “the dentist” was….He just simply said “I went to the dentist today and I saw Jason there!”

Swimming with Sam

Samuel and Mom came to visit to swim with me today. Andrew and Jamie had informed me that Sam was a really good swimmer, but I didn’t really believe them until I saw it for myself! He is like a little fish with his goggles! When we got into the car to leave the pool, Sam fell asleep almost immediately! He was a tired little boy!
