Uh-Oh!!!

After dinner Shelby got out of her seat and went straight for her "baby." I had to laugh as she put the baby into the swing and vibrating chair of Brennon's. She finally got in and was rocking and kissing her baby. So cute!
Well, I go to put her into the bath for bedtime- you saw the picture above- and went to get her a diaper and jammies for bed and came back. The minute I walked into the bathroom, her words were, "UH-OH!" Nice. You see the dark spots and green water? And who's out of town? NICE!

Baby Talk

Randy and I sat down and thought of all the words that Shelby's starting to say. We figured out that "Elby" is her name. We made the list of about 20 things! Well, last night I was sitting on the couch with my feet propped up. She walks up, starts putting a flip flop on my foot and says, "shoe." I was laughing because she hadn't said that before. Well this morning she was trying to lift a heavy bulky pillow and said, "mommy help," in the cutest little strained whisper. She's getting it. Soon we won't be able to shut her up, but for now I'm loving it. That brings the list to 22!

Electricity

Our power went out today at 9:42 AM and came back on this afternoon at 2:34 PM. With the time we had to think about all the stuff we wanted to do, but couldn't because the garage door wouldn't open, we had enough time to think about the importance of electricity. We're grateful it's back on and we can go about our lives. Opening fridges, getting cold water from the fridge door, opening the garage so we can go places and ride our bikes, turn on the lights to see how our mascara looks. These are just a few things we couldn't do. Thank you Rocky Mountain power for your "quick" service.

We got a Horse!!!!!!!

Our neighbors moved to Boise and couldn't take her with them. So, they gave her to us. She fits into our family perfect. She's great with Shelby- only bucks when she does- and never makes a sound! We're a little worried about how we're going to feed her though. Here are the kids enjoying her. Thank you Isaacs family!

Casper Mountain

On Saturday we decided to go up to Casper Mountain with our 3- wheeler and Sadie. Both had never been! It was a blast. We had a picnic lunch and spent a couple hours enjoying the 80 degree weather (with no wind) and the outdoors. Here's Keilie being "Queen of the Mountain"

Our little "Bubble head boy" doesn't his cheeks looks so cute!
Our little "Bubble head girl" doesn't her cheeks look so cute?!
Here's what Shelby and Brennon thought of the trip!
Our "King of the Mountain" picture of Caden wouldn't post. So just imagine for yourself the cutest little boy ever showing his muscles on a stump! We've made tentative plans to do this every Saturday for the rest of the year. Come join us!

Good-bye Colic

I'm happy to say that I'm finally ready to say that his colic is gone. He's been the happiest, most playful boy he's ever been. He plays and talks in his bed now! He eats better, plays more, and doesn't cry as much. In fact, he doesn't really cry unless you're not giving him food, or he's tired. I love the new boy. And with his new found happiness, he's learned to roll over.

These little piggies

For those of you that know me best, you know how much I love piggies on my girls. This is Shelby's first piggies. Doesn't she look ADORABLE?!

Let's go for a swim!!

We got the swimming pool out for the dog to cool off. Shelby just wasn't having that. She wanted in on the action. So, she got in with all her clothes on! How cute to have a drink out of the hose. It's better than her trying to drink the pool water- which she does if your not looking!

Sad News

Well, we found out tonight that Brennon is allergic to his favorite solid- Rice. He broke out with a rash all over his body. I took the throwing up as just his normal stuff, but figured out it was something different when I saw the rash. So, even though his facial expressions showed how much he loved it- no more! So sad Brennon. We'll have to try oatmeal next.

Solids!

This boy was born to eat. Here he is after a few spoonfuls of Rice... Look at how he even opens his mouth!
I'm not sure he likes it anymore! Look at that expression.
