Summa' Summa' Summa'time....

Hey Hey Hey!
We've been keeping ourselves Soooo busy this summer, so I haven't been able to post much {as the way of pictures at least}. So....anyway. We've been to Vegas & back so many times in the past few months, when we finally move there {next friday} We should feel right at home. We've done lots. Drove lots. Shopped lots. And I haven't taken many pictures Here's what I have captured this month....

FRIENDS....
I've known these girls forever it seems.
We grew up, well, tried to grow up together in our younger years.
Now we have Babies!! {crazy}

We whipped out his pool & his little "tide-pool" play mat that my over anxious mom bought for E last summer.
{He was only 2 months old then..}
He was SOOO excited about them both. He got so cold at one point, his lips turned purple and he was shivering but kept on wanting in the pool & splashing around. We set up his tide-pool in the sun to warm him up. I was surprised at how much he liked it. I thought he would just get bored & want out like he does in the bath. Ever since he learned to walk, he does not want to sit in one place for too long. The bath holds him back I guess. Check here for more pics on this...

After running around & playing in the pool, He was soo tired.
He zoned out to the TV for a quick second, then fell promptly asleep.
{Hooray for me. more days like this to come for sure! if this is what happens}

This is E's new favorite past time.
He sneaks up behind me, then.............................attacks me!
He grabs on to the back of me and jumps and laughs.
It's kind of irritating sometimes, but I know one day I'll miss it, so I think it's funny.

I was so sad when He fell.
We were at Ikea. We were in the Baby changing station. I had just finished changing him and was washing my hands. He was trying to climb up on a little kid chair that was set up in there, and somehow took a nose-dive. Okay, a Forehead-dive.
I tried to hold some ice on it, but he wouldn't let me. I tried to distract him with french fries, but it didn't work. Husband said he was going to have a bump no matter what. It was already there as soon as I picked him up off the floor. :(
{it broke my heart. I cried}
But I know he's a boy and there will be more to follow....can't wait...

My Ode To Food...

Okay so...I must be starving or going to start my p-rod. (sorry 2 male readers)
I am not a fast food connoisseur. To me, its just a cheap and convenient filler. That does not mean I don't eat it, cause I do. It's just I rarely enjoy it. I use it only to shut my stomach up. Now, let me re-state that I must be starving or going to start my period. Or maybe it's cause E went down for a nap on his own today and is currently still sleeping, I don't know. But Let me tell you.... I went to Jack In The Box and got their Acapulco Chicken Salad today for lunch. and.....Holy freakin Moly. It has romaine and spring mix lettuce topped with grilled chicken, shredded pepper jack cheese, grape tomatoes, cucumber slices and red onions served with a side of blue corn tortilla strips and a cilantro-lime dressing. The salad also comes with a couple of lime wedges, which I really recommend squeezing all the juice you can get out of the little suckers on to your salad. YYum! I'm so happy right now. Just me & my salad safe from the summer's heat, relaxing in the a/c. I'm not even going to count points or anything (for you weight watcher readers) cause it will ruin it. But this salad has got to be one of the tasteist I've had in quite a while. As E would say, ......mmMMMmmm! (yes, he gets louder in the middle) I may go as far as putting it up there with the Pizza Port's asain chicken salad! Yeah, I went there. Oh, and about the weight watchers thing, I lied. I looked up the points. w/o the dressing it's only 5 points, but you would surley be missing out on quite of a lot if you ate it like that my friend. With dressing it's 12. So save up some points for it! I'm telling you. I will not let you down. I'd put a picture up, if a picture would let you reach in a take a bite, but we're not technologically there yet. too bad.
well, I better get off to more important things now. Jack In The Box for dinner anyone?
