Let the Good Times Begin!

Jay and I took a trip to Seattle to see his dad and his wife. It was a GREAT trip!

This the Seattle's Troll, who lives under a bridge. This is Tiarra with me. She is the foreign exchange student staying with his dad.
 It was really cool!
His dad took us sailing. It was amazing! One thing checked off my bucket list!
Jay and his dad trying to get the sail up.
His dad had me drive the boat from the dock until we were out in the water. I was fine until the sails were up and the boad started picking up speed and started turning on its side. I thought I was flipping us over! I freaked out just a little bit! ;)

We drove to Seattle. It was actually really fun. We love turning up the radio really loud and singing together. There may or may not be some dance moves going on too! lol
What the????? I HAD to take a picture! There were doll heads glued all over, including the one hanging from the ceiling in the back window on the passanger side. On the bumper were tooth paste tubes glued. And pictures of people pasted all over the car. It actually kind of freaked me out!
It was a beautiful drive!!

This is a test..

So I'm trying out the blogger app on my phone and have no clue how this is going to work out. Please forgive me!

Over the Christmas Holiday, Jays brother and sister in law came to visit. We took them to the zoo, temple square, bowling, movies, and played games. We had a great time!

A lesson in life

When I think of the Garden of Eden, I think of my Grandpa's garden. It is the most beautiful garden you would ever see. The first year I ever planted a garden, he came down to my house to help me. He taught me that a garden is not just a garden. It is a place of beauty and peace, where you can enjoy what God has given us to grow. He told me "It needs to be beautiful" and so he taught me how to plant flowers and bushes at the beginning of my garden. The picture above is his garden. It couldn't get anymore beautiful than that!

This year my grandfather's health has not been too good. Although he does not feel good most days, he does not let it get in the way of his garden. As a whole family we decided that each individual family would take a Monday night and go help Grandpa and Grandma with the garden and whatever else they needed us to do. It was a great experience that I will treasure. My mom and Grandma.

My Grandpa made the best invention ever! He got little buckets and tied shoe strings on them so we could put them around our waist while picking raspberries. It was so clever!!

As much as my grandpa would not listen to us, he HAD to come help! He could not just sit and watch us picking! lol

I am so grateful for my Grandparents and how they teach me to be a better person, wife, daughter, sister, and friend.

5 Years Already????

Can you believe we have been married for 5 years??? I can't either!! My grandpa told me a few months ago that they didn't think we would even make it 5 years! hahaa Good thing I LOVE my grandparents or else I would be offended! lol Actually, I wouldn't be offended because there was time I didn't think we would make it 5 years either!
These 5 years have been the best and worst years of my life and I wouldn't trade it for anything! We have learned how to grow together, love together, and depend on each other. I am looking forward to what the next 5 years brings!
We had a great weekend camping, riding the RZR, and going to Park City. I got really spoiled on top of it all! :)

My parents came up on Sunday to have dinner and show us how to take down the tent trailer. I have the best parents in the world!

Jay and I rode the RZR for a couple hours. We had a picnic as well during our ride. It was so fun!

Jay had to copycat me! lol We both had to have one foot in Wyoming and one foot in Utah.

We found a really cute ice cream/sandwich shop in Coalville, Utah. We got sandwiches there for our picnic.

My Cute Grandma

For some reason, I cannot get the first picture to move down. Oh well!

I think I have the cutest grandma in America!! Every Spring and Fall, she hosts a luncheon for her older grand girls and my mom. This luncheon was at Oakridge Country Club in Farmington. We had a REALLY good time!!! We love sitting there for a few hours talking, visiting, and hearing stories from my Grandma. She always gets us the cutest gifts and flowers. In the picture above, she found these fly swatters with flowers glued on one side. They were so cute!!

I'm so proud to call her my Grandma. I love her so much!!!

Lazy Sunday

Jay and I were having a VERY much needed lazy Sunday when my sister, Morgan & Kelsey, invited us to go to Mueller Park for dinner and a bike ride. We had a great time!!! It was nice to have a campfire and roast hotdogs and marshmallows, knowing that we don't have a tent to clean up. ;)

Me- eating my smore.

Jay and Morgan brought their bikes up and rode from Mueller Park all the way home.

It took a while to get the fired started but they eventually got it!

Catch Up Time

For some reason, I can't get the above picture to move down. lol So I'll just leave it there.
I have so much to catch up on! We spent a week in Island Park and it was beautiful! There was at least 7 feet of snow when we got there and it snowed several nights during the week. It was my sister, Megan's, birthday and Easter also while we were there. After my brother's family left and my sister and her husband, there was some much needed relaxing time. On one day, we did nothing! And I mean nothing! Well, except for eating and watching TV. I think we watched 6 hours of NCIS. hahaaa We had a great time!

This was at one of the shops in West Yellowstone.
Jay had to eat at this bus. Ghetto!! lol But really good Mexican food.

My parents and I. My dad is 6'1 and the snow was WAY above him!

My adorable nieces modeling for us. They kept us laughing the whole time!

We attended the Easter Egg Hunt in West Yellowstone. It was so much fun! They had games after the hunt and my niece, Aree, took home the 1st place prize out of 150 kids.

Coloring Easter Eggs. My nieces had to leave a note on the table at home for Easter Bunny, letting him know that they were in Island Park and he needed to come up there. He definitely found them and spoiled them!! :)

As long as I can remember my mom has dipped her own homemade Peanut Butter eggs. They are so yummy!!
