What a Great Christmas!!

We had a really good Christmas... very low key and relaxing. I was very happy to have Jay home for 4 days, especially because I had the same days off. We spend Christmas Eve at my parents house, had a nice dinner and read the Nativity Story. Although we missed Brett and Haylee, we had a a good time. Santa even showed up during dinner!
On Christmas Morning, we went back to my parents house. My mom and dad always make the best breakfast! We opened presents and hung out all afternoon. We watched movies and later went to my Grandma & Grandpa Walker's house. That evening we went to my Grandma Jenson's house and had dinner. She makes the best dinner ever!! We were all kind of bummed because it started snowing pretty hard... so instead of playing games all night, we all headed home. I love being with my family, especially my husband! We are a very close family and enjoy being together.

Great Weekend!!

So Jay and I babysat Aree, Abee, and Alex from last Thursday to Sunday. We had so much fun with them! They were so excited to stay at our house. We stayed in our P.J's most of the day Friday. We put up the Christmas Tree, and the Christmas decorations, made sugar cookies, and watched movies. I let them decorate the tree and they loved it.

Abee's is the star, Alex's is the heart with the M& M's. Aree's is the baseball and she had to make a baseball for Grandma and a heart that says G+A= for Grandpa. She also made the Red B for Morgan. I think Abee and Alex had more fun eating the dough and the M& M's.

We can't wait to have them over again. They were so much fun!

Cousin Time!!

We had a cousin game night at my house on Saturday night. We had a blast! I'm pretty sure Lianne thinks our family is crazy... and we'll be lucky if she ever comes back! Thanks Andrew and Bill!! ha ha We missed everyone who could not come. We will definantly do it again.

Our Trip!!

This last weekend my Mom, Dad, Morgan, and I went to Island Park and had a blast! It was so nice for us to get away and have some down time together. We went to Mesa Falls, which was so beautiful, and went shopping in West Yellowstone. I finally got to read Twilight, which I finished in about 2 days. And then we watched, sports, sports, and more sports (my dad was in heaven...not!) My dad would end up putting a movie in his laptop and listening to it through his headphones everynight. Luckily he was good about it! The last thing we did was eat, and eat, and eat. My mom brough enough food to feed an army! We had such a great time! Here some some of the pics from the weekend!

We're Moving!!!!

So Jay and I have decided to make our first big move.... into a house! I can't believe how this house fell into our laps and how blessed we are to have found it. We knew we couldn't afford to buy a house and we so desperately need more room. I told Jay I wasn't moving out of our ward, so we were just going to have to stay in our apartment, and that was our plan. But out of the blue, this house went up for rent in our ward and within one day... it is now ours! The best part about the house is that it is almost right across the street from The Mandarin. Ok, well maybe not the best part, but pretty close! If anyone knows anything about Bountiful, you know that The Mandarin is the place to be for Chinese! So... anyone up for some Chinese?? Come on over!

This is the view of the backyard. The white building on the left is the garage. There is an old chicken coop behind that..... I told Jay instead of sleeping on the couch when he's bad, he can sleep in the chicken coop!! Ha Ha

The back yard is huge! Behind the yard is our landlords land, which he has a garage and a huge garden too. He said we are welcome to anything he grows.

We are moving in November 1st and I am sooo excited! If you happen to be bored that day, anyone is more than welcome to come help!!

Exactly 60 days and Counting.....

It was confirmed today.... I am officially going backstage at the Celine Concert!! One of her dancers has set up a tour and will be showing me around backstage. Now I know this doesn't guarantee that I will meet Celine, but its one step closer! I don't think I can wait 60 more days....

Happy Birthday!!

It was Jay's Birthday on Friday!! He was supposed to be home on Friday, but at the last second his company made him stay out longer, so he didn't get home until Saturday morning. He was really bummed he couldn't get home by Friday, so I wanted to do something special for him. I decorated our house! He laughed when he saw it, but I know he loved it! I could tell because he kept going into the living room to look at it! Here are more pics of him opening his present...

Jay LOVES Snoopy.... he was given that nickname in either Jr. High or High School. He collects anything with Snoopy on it!

He really wanted to go bowling, so we went to Fat Cats. We had a really good time. I forgot my camera, and I was so mad! He is soo cute when he bowls!

So you will never believe what happened to me today......

If any of you really know me, you know that I am the original Celine Dion fan in my family. I love her and I think she is one of the greatest singers of all time. Due to my obsession, I have spent WAY too much money on her... (you would never know if by looking at my house!!! ha ha)

Well, today my bosses came to me and said they needed to speak to me privately. They told me they had a problem that needed to be fixed and they had serious looks on their face. My mind strated racing and I was trying to think of anything that I could of done wrong. It felt like 5 mintues went by before they started talking. Dianna then yelled "We got you Celine tickets!!" I started freaking out, telling them to shut up. They were serious!! They really got me tickets. I started crying and couldn't believe it! On top of that..... they are pretty sure they can get me a back stage pass!!!!! I still can't believe it but I am so freaking excited!!!

One of my bosses friends use to dance for Celine in Vegas. Marva has told him about my obsession so he said he would do what he could to get tickets. He called one of his friends who is on tour with Celine right now and he told Dianna today that Celine personally authorized these tickets. Isn't that so cool!! I have no clue where the seats are and whether I get to meet her, but that doesn't matter! I can't wait until November!!! I'm already counting down!

So Morgan and I had my 3 nieces come sleep over a few weeks ago. We had a blast!! By the time we played, went for ice cream, ate 2 bags of popcorn, and watched a movie- they were pooped!

I took them to church with me the next day and wow!! What an experience! Of coarse, they are the best kids ever but being my first time taking children to church, I forgot diapers for Alex (and she was extra poopy), things to do, etc. Lukily one of the ladies in my primary presidency had diapers and everything I needed. I guess its a good thing I'm getting some practice!

The Best Family!

We had our Walker family reunion this last weekend and it was a blast!! We went to Camp Lomia in Logan Canyon. We got there on Friday and had a luau that night. I think the kids had fun!! We ate good food, had a pinata, and played games. We ate more good food Saturday and had a killer game of Kick Ball. It was fun to let all the kids run around, play in water, and have a campfire.

Ok... I know I know.... I haven't kept up my blog... infact I haven't done it since I started it. I took some cute pics over the holiday and I can't find my cord to download them to my computer. I'll get them on here as soon as I can.
We have had a funfield last couple weeks!! We went to park city with two of my friends and their husbands. We had a great time!! We stayed in a three bedroom condo... it was amazing!!!! I felt like a queen! We hung out, watched movies, played in Park City, and ate, and ate, and ate.
We went to Camperworld 2 weekends ago for Morgan's Birthday. It was a blast, although it was freaking hot!!
The 4th of July was so much fun!! We went to the parade in the morning with the Walker Family (excluding my mom and dad... party poopers!!) We went to lunch and a movie with Megan and Bill. Later that evening, the Walker Family came to my parents house, had dinner, and went to the Davis High Fireworks. I love that holiday!!
I love hanging out with my family!! It's amazing to me how the older I get, the more important they become to me.
