ALASKA

Jeff had training in Anchorage, Alaska last week. He was gone from June 15-23. Yes, that's right; I was alone with the girls for 9 days! That is the longest by myself. Please feel sorry for me, J/K. Anyways, Jeff's dad decided to join him so they could fish and relax. I'm glad that Jeff had someone with him and he wasn't all alone. They had a great time. As you can see they fished a lot. They came home with fresh Red Salmon and Halibut. The best fish in the world!

My Girls

My sister Cordie loves it when she can hear Gracie screaming her head off in the background when we are on the phone. So this is for her. She is upset because she doesn't like the new food I just tried to give her and she is pretty tired. She isn't this upset all the time, on Monday the girls had to get a shot and today and yesterday they have been pretty moody. I have been trying to teach the girls sign language too. The word that I have started with is 'more'. I'm not sure if Madi is trying to do that or if she is clapping her hands because I just gave her a puff treat. Either way I'm a proud mamma.

First Videos

This is my first attempt at posting a video. This is my Gracie being a silly girl. As you will see, she keeps banging her head against the mirror. Too cute. Yes, you will also see Madi sitting in her Bumbo seat on top of the toilet. Don't judge me, I have to improvise when getting ready. My bathroom is clean. (After viewing this, it was pretty loud. I guess I had the volume on my camera all the way up. So you may need to turn down your speakers :)

Crabbing

My parents came up this last weekend. My dad hadn't been here yet and hadn't seen his granddaughters since January! While they were here we went crabbing. My parents LOVE Dungeness Crab. So Jeff borrowed some crab cages from a guy at work and we caught ourselves some fresh crab. I think we were very successful for our very first time. The second picture shows the second attempt at crabbing. We forgot to take a picture of the first time pulling up the cages. We had like 9 or so in the first cage and about the same in the second. There were some that were the right size to keep, but they were all female! You can't keep females only males. So out of all the crabs we caught, only 3 we could keep. They were pretty yummy though!
