TAG IT!

For the crafty sprouts challenge we are to make tags-I made these using the cricut Christmas tag cartridge, then stamped the back with the words To and From. The cool thing about these is that I used the negative and positive image that was cut out (See below) I then saw this cute saying on pink cricut website which I attached to the tags:Here’s a Bag of Tags
For You.
For All the Wrapping
There is to Do.
Attach to Gifts
For Any Reason,
To Show Your Love
This Christmas Season.
Merry Christmas!

berry sweet

This is for the imaginisce challenge so I used 100% imaginisce products-all from the berrylicious collection except the journal tag which is from the little cutie collection. I have been waiting to do this page since this summer and this challenge was just the nudge I needed! The sketch is below:

Family

The challenge at quick quotes is to use white space, which is a very hard challenge for me because I don't like white space on my pages. But I used the sketch from the delightful inspiration blog to inspire me. The white paper is actually embossed with the words family, which is from DCWV.

There is snowman like you!

For this LO I used my cricut imagine cartridge Enjoy the season to make the background paper, snowman, snowflake and tree. I used Winter frolic to make the borders and title, Martha Stewart snowflake corner punch on the corner of my pictures and DCWV glitter paper for the snow and title. Can you believe we made that big of a snowman in October!

Kennywood fun

This was Cassandra's first trip to Kennywood Park in Pittsburgh, she loved all the roller-coasters!The challenge at the scrapping cottage was to use a frame, I didn't have a frame die so I used their boardwalk carnival die to create a big frame around the pictures. The paper is all from my  minds eye.

The journey begins

Another wedding LO! The cool thing about this one is I used left over material from the centerpieces to make the ribbon, I thought it was a neat touch. I used the following sketch if you would like to play along

S'more Fun!

For Emert's Preschool party on Monday we made these cute treat bags. Each bag has a Hersey bar, graham crackers, and a ghost marshmallow peep. I can not take credit for this idea, I found it on the pink cricut website, here is the link for the directions:http://www.pinkcricut.com/2011/09/smore-monster-hugs/. The box top is cut from the cricut cartridge baby steps, the ghost is cut from simple charmed and the faces are peachy keens pumpkin faces, the paper and ribbon stickers are from Reminisce, and s'more fun is a combination of 2 stamps from pink cricut. Emert helped by putting all the candy bars in the bags, and stamping the faces, and gluing everything together. Of course after all that help he had to sample one of the s'mores. They were so good I had to hide the rest!

Big Brother

This is a funny LO of my newest brother-in-law. He is the oldest and shortest brother. I followed the following sketch:

Blushing Bride

This blushing bride is my beautiful sister Joy. I made this LO for the DCWV challenge. I used the wedding matstack for the rectangles and squares, and the paper is from the formal affair stack. The title is a Jolees. For this challenge I had to follow the following sketch

First Dance

Another wedding page and cricut challenge. The Challenge: Create a project of your choice using a monochromatic color scheme. Your project must include at least 2 different Cricut Image Cuts. The title is from formal occasions cartridge and the hearts are from Hannah Montana.

Emert and his Daddy

I know I haven't made any new pages for a while but I swear I wake up, blink and it is time for bed! If only winter went by this fast! Anyhow, I made this page for the cottage Blog contest. We had to follow the sketch below and include 1 cottagecutz which was the adorable skunk. The paper and embellishments are from my minds eye stella rose collection, and the cute stamp is from pink by design. I hope you enjoyed looking at my LO!

Chillin' with my peeps

I used my new all in one cuttlebug folder, beautiful, to emboss the core'dination white wash paper to create the frame around Cassandra. Then I sanded the embossing to let the blue come through. I also embossed the yellow egg using core'dination paper again and the devine folder and once again sanded it. The title was cut with my cricut, and everything else was really just scraps and left overs I had in my collection. The sketch I used was the following from sketchy Thursday:

Can We Keep Him?

My children, thanks to our dog, found bunnies in the field beside are house and of course wanted to keep them. I got some really cute pictures, and was inspired by the spring flowers in the background to make this LO. The bunny is from CottageCutz, I put the body between the layers of the grass and the feet in front of the grass to make him look like he was sitting there as cute as can be! I added a bee and dragonfly button, and used twine to make the antennas. I used my gypsy to weld the title together. Hope you like it!

Nikki's Bridal Shower

For this LO the clouds/sun was cut from celebrate with flourish, the grass was from all sport, the flowers and wheelbarrow were cut from walk in the garden and the title was cut from sweetheart. I used liquid applique on the cloud and center of the flowers and then inked the purple centers yellow. I cut the grass twice and reversed it and used pop dots to give it dimension. I used devine cuttlebug folder on the blue paper. Hope you like it!

Christmas Party

I made this page today at a Crop that was a fundraiser for my daughter's school. It is based on a sketch from inspired blueprints. Scrapbooking and my sister's shower this weekend have really worn me out-I am not ready to start the work week in the morning! Oh well-hope everyone has a great week!

Home for the Holidays

This was a really great sketch from Peachy Keen, the penguin is also from them. The flower was a new technique I saw somewhere online-just punch out circles and fold the bottom inward to make a cone which becomes the petal-very cool and easy flower. Hope you enjoy my LO.

Christmas morning

This is my entry for sketchy Thursdays sketch:

The saying was cut from the winter woodlands cartridge, and, the paper is Cosmo cricket. I used the sketch from inspired blueprints #67.

Monthly Cricut Challenge

The challenge: Create a project (other than a layout or card) for a child using your Cricut machine

This is my daughter's science fair project display. Not only did I create it for a child, my child helped create it! I found the cartridges that I thought would go with the project and helped set up the sizing and she did the cutting. If we win this challenge the cricut will be donated to her school.

Made with Love!

For this LO I used my Cricut Imagine and Kate's Kitchen cartridge to cut out the title and journal lines, I also cut out the window and flower using the layers option so I could raise the flower pot to add deminsion. Then I followed the tutorial that Shantaie Fowler posted on her website inking pink: http://www.inkingpink.com/2010/05/how-to-make-distressed-flower-video.html (thanks Shantaie) and cut the flowers at 1" and the other at 1.5" using the forever young cartridge to make my flowers. The bees were cut out using the create a critter cartridge and the faces are peachy keens simple simon. The paper is from creative memories, I used my knife to cut out parts of the heart to tuck my journaling tabs and picture under.

The Challenge: Use rainbow colors OR a monochromatic green color scheme on your project. We also want to see you add a touch of gold somewhere on your project.

I didn't have any St. Patrick's Day photos so I used some from Christmas. The title and trees are from the winter frolic cartridge. I used gold beads for tinsel on the tree.

You take the cake
