Let it slide

This month Lasting Memories is  having fun with papers by incorporate one of each size paper onto your layout: 4 - 2.5 x 10    4 - .5 x 12    4 - 3 x 4 (could use journal cards) I used the ,5 x 12 to make the blue border around the page, the 2.5 x 10 were cut out of the camera paper to create the background, and the 3 x 4 size was used as photo mats. Hope you join in on this fun challenge!

Full Moon

Do you ever feel like you are going around in circles? This month at Lasting Memories they want to turn that feeling into a benefit by exploring fun ways to use circles on our layouts. This week's challenge is to use circular ephemera or stamped images to embellish your layout. I actually cut a circle out of the middle of the paper and used the inner circles to create the design, then I used moon ephemera to highlight my photos about our full moon hike at Bryce Canyon National Park. Hope you join this month's fun challenges.

Love you to the Moon

I am the GD again for the Cut it Up Blog and the new challenge is Have a Heart. I had this great die cut title for our stargazing night at Zion National Park. It was cloudy and we didn't see many stars, but the moon was full and looked amazing. It was so dark there the photographer had to show us where to stand using a flashlight and then told us to look at the moon. The photo looks like it was taken during the day-so cool! Hope you check out this blog and join in the heart challenge!

Here Comes Santa

This month at Lasting Memories we will deliberately focus on different aspects of our design in order to give some pizzazz to the finished product. This week we are going to focus on the title. It can be an extra large or long title, get creative with multiple fonts, replace a couple of letters in your title with pictures, etc. I purchased some great titles from paper wizard and love how it went with the papers and photo of us meeting Santa. Can't wait to see you title!
