Small Fry!!!

We went for Macks 9 month appointment today and found out we have a small fry! At 9 months he is only is the 25th percentile for weight and I think 30th for height, but he has a whopper of a head in the 60th percentile...go figure!
Thanks to a Dr. at work he was able to dress up for Halloween! He brought me in one of his kids old ones the Friday before Halloween! He wasn't the biggest fan of the costume. It didn't last long, but he came to visit me at my trunk or treat that night.
He's not crawling quite yet but loves to be doing something constantly! Loves to stand up and jump in the mirror still! We really love our little punkin'

Back from the dead!!!

I know don't fall off your chairs, I am actually posting something for the first time in several months! I gave up for a while because I had NO time to do anything let alone worry about this stuff! He hasn't been the easiest baby for sure, but the last few months he has gotten really good. We spent Labor day weekend letting him learn to cry himself to sleep but now he sleeps really good at night! What a relief. I love this little guy so much. I love seeing him smile and laugh and make silly sounds. I am so lucky to be his momma!

This is by far our favorite past time...jumping in the mirror. He knows what a mirror is for sure. Any time we pass one he does a double take and nearly jumps out of my arms! I am going to have one vain kid because with or without clothes he loves to see himself in the mirror!

So this is what we wake up to every morning! He has become such a good sleeper!

Good Morning!!! Just woke up from a nap!

He has found his feet which makes diaper changing fun now! Lay him down and they immediately go up. It's pretty funny to watch.

I really suck at updating this lately. He usually doesn't nap longer than 30 min at a time and so in those few minutes I try and hurry and get things done around the house. He is getting to be so much fun though. I love hearing him laugh and seeing him smile. It is really fun to be a mom. I can't believe how fast he is growing up...he is almost 5 months now!


So is anyone going to the reunion this year? Sounds kinda lame. Don't really feel like making the effort to go when no one else wanted to make the effort to plan the thing. And $70 seems outrageous. Maybe it's just me.

Things are going well here. I start back to work part time in the next two weeks already! I can't believe how fast time flies! It's going to be good to go back but man am I going to miss my boy. I leave now just to run some errands while Jas watches him and I am missing him by the time I get back. He has been starting to talk and smile. It is so fun to watch him learn these new things.

Nap when the baby naps!

There is something so peaceful about a sleeping baby!

You can't tell but I am in my crib!!! We are making progress. He will nap on his own but still won't even think about it at night!

i took this picture tonight. He his getting so big! Mack is almost a month old now. I can't believe it. Excited for him to grow up but sad too! Seems like just yesterday we were at the hospital getting ready to meet him.

Where do I start? It has certainly been an interesting few weeks of mommyhood. Our little Valentines present got here and I think someone forgot to cut the umbilical cord because he is attached to his momma! If anyone has any ideas how to get a baby to sleep in a bassinet let me know because since the minute he was born he wants nothing to do with it. For now it makes a great storage rack. I had both my moms here for a week after he was born, which was an incredible help. A week after he was born my father-in-law had a heartattack and so Jason and his mom had to fly back home suddenly. He took the computer with him so I didn't have one (our other screen is broken). So it was a crash course for me in mother hood, just me and mack! It was a long week, but Jason is home now and we are getting settled again. I can't believe how much work it is to be a mom! Whew!!! We have certainly seen alot of miracles the last week with Jason's dad and he is doing better. Sorry that this post is in the middle of pics but it won't let me move them. More posts to come. Hopefully sooner than previous ones! Baby is crying....bedtime!

We are at home doing well. They forgot to give us the instruction manual so we are doing the best we can!!! He is to cute! Look at all that hair. He already has a "faux hawk" and needs a haircut!

How do you have a baby who doesn't want to come? I know I still have a few days left but I don't have any signs he is coming any time soon! I am thinking of tripping and accidently landing on a syringe of pitocin to start things off! I know that I haven't updated in forever but that has been the furthest thing from my mind lately. So anyway I will have to post some pics soon but for now...no baby yet!
