It's almost Christmas!

On Christmas eve we of course acted out the Nativity story.

A sweet friend of ours, (the wife of our bishop at church), took us to see an amazing holiday display of Chinese new year and Christmas!

Christmas activities, 2019

The LA temple is always a beautiful place to start out the Christmas season. 

Kate spotted the snowman "Olaf" as a yard balloon.

The kids sang "Sleigh Ride", complete with hand-held jingle bells, while Kelly and I played the duet on the piano to accompany them. The audience loved it!

Fall 2019!

The sky was beautiful on my early morning run!

 Later in the week we, had a lot of rain.

Then we had sun again...

Thanksgiving day 2019 was cold and rainy but we had a very nice day. 

Kelly and I prepped the turkey the night before. 

 We enjoyed Thanksgiving with some new friends of ours, the Mertz family.

Talents

My sweet little Mary is becoming a wonderful ballerina! I love to see how graceful she is and watch her improvise at home, using what she learns in class.

 Mikey's not-so-hidden talent is making messes! He loved shredding the grocery adds up. Who teaches these things to him!?

 Kate loves to look for fun things on our stroller run. Mikey likes to catch 40 winks!

 He's a little climber and a daredevil. I have to keep my eye on him.
