SPRING BREAK 2012

When it looks like this in South Weber we head to St. George for Spring Break.

We left the snow for 80 degrees and swimming in St. George, so happy for a break from the SNOW!!

Kati joined us for Spring Break this year.  Its so fun to have her along and she is a great help with the boys.

After a day of warm weather in St. George it cooled off so we decided to head to Kanab.  One because I have never been there before and Two to check out Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.

We first heard about Best Friends while watching Dog Town on TV.  Its the Nations Largest Animal Sanctuary.  It took us about 2-3 hours just to tour it.  Its pretty amazing what they do and how huge it is.  Mc was sad you couldn't interact with more animals.

There were lots of cats to feed and play with and a couple of dogs but the other animals were look only.

Mc and Kati really liked the outing.  Kian is always good to do anything!!

It was conference Sunday so we watched some conference.

On the way home since the weather in St. George had gotten cold and hindered our pool plans we stopped at Cabellas to extend our vacation a little longer.

This was my first time there and I really enjoyed watching them feed the fish.  At first they throw in fish food and I was thinking ok then they threw in gold fish and the hunt was on, this was AWESOME!!

Kians Naartjie Photo Shoot

Kian is Officially a MODEL!! 

Kian was asked to model for Naartjie, but when I sent in his information and picture I also sent in McKades in hopes that he to could model for this clothing store.  McKade was not picked and he was a little peeved about this mainly because Kian would get paid.

They were able to get these darling shots which is amazing since Kian was not happy this day and cried through the entire shoot. 

Kian still got paid $50.00 his first paycheck.

He got a CD with this photo shoot on it.

He also got a coupon to shop in the Naartjie store.

It was a fun experience and I hope they would call him to model again but if not it would make sense since he wasn't very happy.  Below is a link to see his video shoot, its cute and has all the kids in it.

I am amazed at all of the opportunities Kian has already had here in America.  I am so thankful that he is here and I am thankful for the opportunities he will have in the United States.  I love this cute boy!!

Easter 2012

Dying of Easter Eggs

Kian was a lot more aware of what he was doing this Easter than last year. 

He watched brother to get the idea of what to do.

He then watched dad to make sure he was doing it right.

Kian then decided that it would be better to eat the egg.

Before he finally decided to help dye them.

These boys were proud of their eggs.  Mc is a great big brother and Kian is so much fun to watch as he is getting more and more used to America and the holidays.

Our family-if I look a little crazy its because I was.  Getting a family picture was torture and after tons none turned out because Kian was on a sugar high that didn't allow him to focus!!

I actually baked a French Toast casserole I got the recipe from Pinterest.  It was Yummy.  My parents came over for breakfast.  It was a fun morning!!

Great Easter-I am so thankful for my family.  I love them so much and I am so blessed to have two wonderful sons and my amazing husband.  I am thankful for my Saviors atoning sacrifice and the plan he has for me.
