Our house and a hair cut

I know these are exciting photos! We still haven't moved but we are getting closer. They are putting in the water system and irrigation system. Here is what it looks like behind our house. The kids can't get enough of jumping over the trenches and running in them. It is like a maze. It has taken about 3 weeks and today they are burying them! I am so excited because it is one step closer to our house being finished.
Our house is the one on the right.

Dillon's first real hair cut!!
I have tried before to cut his hair but it never turns out very good. So we decide it was time to take him to the barbers, or Great Clips. He held very still and looked like to was terrified.
Before After
He looks like such a big kid. It is sad my baby is not such a baby anymore. He has a new trick. He can climb out of his bed! He knows he is being very naughty. It is so hard to be mad when he is so cute. We have to make sure he is very tried when he goes to bed.

Madison's 5th Birthday

Madison had her 5th birthday on the 22nd. Time goes by too fast. She will start school in August. Remind me again what you do with one kid at home? It has been 7 years since I only had one child at home. Her birthday was on Sunday and we asked a head of time who we should invite for cake and ice cream. She gave us her list and then come to find out when she was at church she invited more people. We didn't find out till we got home. She was so excited it was her day she wanted everyone to come. Good thing no one took her too serious because we didn't have any extra friends show up! Here are some photos of her day:

Spencer giving Madi her b-day spankings. Dillon thought it looked fun so he joined in.

Blowing 5 candles out!

One of our friends ask Madi what she wanted and she said "You can give me flowers or just whatever you feel like."

After Madi opened her gift from Grandma and Grandpa Piggy (Spencer's parents) Dillon tried to get in the box. We like to think he misses them sooo much he wants to go to their house!
Thank you to all our family who sent a gift to Madison she had a great day!!!

It has been a long time!!

Have you ever felt like you are running around like a chicken with its head cut off? That is what our family has felt like for the past 2 months. I hope we are getting the hang of things. At least I don't feel as crazy busy like in the beginning. Here is a little of what has been going on:

Almond bloom came and is gone. That is the best time of year here, besides all the bees. It is so beautiful and the smell is amazing. The colors of the blossoms are white, pink, and green. Very light shades of those colors. And when they fall it looks like snow, that is what is going on in the photo.

Madison has been taking gymnastics since September. I thought it was time to post some photos now that she is finished. Her coach is having a baby. We hope we can make it work so she can start up again when school starts. She is getting so good and loves it.

Dillon loves to play during class. He can hold on the bar for a long time.

Madi and the high beam. She is so brave. She can get on the beam and walk across with out any help. It was great when she had her first day of class she thought she was going to the Olympics. I guess I watched a little too much. After class as we were walking out she got mad because she didn't win the gold medal!! We had a nice talk of how to win a gold medal. It took a couple of months for her not to call it her Olympics.
