Princi Christmas

Our final Christmas celebration happened on Christmas morning at the Princi house.  Cameron was very excited when he saw the presents under the tree!

 Cameron loved all of his gifts and had a really good time playing with everything!  Santa was very generous this year...thank you, Santa for another wonderful Christmas!! :)

Christmas Eve

For the past several years we have celebrated Christmas Eve at my parents' house with a traditional Italian meal of 7 fishes.  Mike's Mom and Beetle and my sister's boyfriend and family join us as well and it is always a good time.  After dinner we attend Mass and then watch 'It's a Wonderful Life' and eat chocolate pudding pie as we have done every year of my entire life.  Then we hurry off to bed so that Santa can come!!

Outten family Christmas

 We had a wonderful Christmas with our Outten/Bailey/Hansen family on the morning of Christmas Eve.  Cameron had a great time playing with his cousins Tyler and Ashley and got some wonderful presents.  He especially loved the little bunny that came with Ashley's American Girl Doll and played with it and Ashley all morning.  :)  Mommy especially loved Aunt Joy's mimosas and Uncle Jim's bacon. ;)

PHEW!

Phew!  We're back in Texas and getting ready for the new year!  There are a number of posts coming from our Virginia trip so stay tuned for more Christmas here at outnthwest!

hiatus

you know the drill.  we're traveling and that means limited computer access (I don't bring mine with us) and no posts.  We will return to our regulary scheduled programming following Christmas :)

Jackson

Ms. Martha brought her puppy Jackson when she came to visit for the party.  Cameron LOVES dogs, and Jackson loved Cameron!  Lots of kisses were exchanged between the two.

Christmas Party

On December 4th Mike and I hosted our annual holiday party.  The party has been on hiatus since moving to Texas, but we are glad to have it back!  It was nice to reopen "O Bar" in such style with such wonderful friends!! Martha made the trip from San Antonio, Kristen and George from downtown, Brian and Jennifer from Sugarland and all of our wonderful Woodlands friends and neighbors came out too!  We hope everyone had a great time, we definitely did! and we're already looking forward to next year!

Chronicles of a Suburban Housewife: Leftovers

We had a TON of turkey leftovers but all of the sides got gobbled up! So what was a suburban housewife to do?  Make delicious turkey pot pie!  It came out so pretty I had to take a picture.  (and no, I did not let the leftovers sit in my fridge all these weeks, I'm just slow about uploading pictures.)

Aunt Lauren and Matt came for a Thanksgiving visit! We had a great time eating, watching football, shopping and decorating for Christmas.  Cameron loved having them here and was very sad when they had to go home.  We're excited to see them again soon in Virginia!  Thanks for a great visit guys!
