Hiawatha Trail

Two weeks ago my Dad, Mom, Aunt & Uncle (Kristen and Rob) and their kids; Jessica, Nate, Cody, Mattie, Ian, Ella, came to Moscow to visit us for a week!! It was so good seeing them and having them here. After they left our appt. felt so empty. We did lots of fun things. Here are soem pictures of our bike ride on the Hiawatha bike trail in Northern Idaho. It is 15 miles long, it was a old train track converted to a bike trail. There a lots of tunnels (without lights) one of the tunnels is 1.5ish miles long! You have to have a bike light or a head lamp or something, it is pitch black inside. There were also lots of bridges. The views were amazing, the air clear and crisp, the company very enjoyable. Lets do it again!

We're on one of the bridges here.

Nate and Cody were fearless on their bikes. Nate even told me he would like to be a profesional biker one day.

This was taken when we got off the trail.

This is us... everyone but Jake =(The Nieskens! (Ian picking his nose, kids are funny)

The tough crew....aren't we cool!?

Bathtub

I know this is kind of gross, but Sean wasn't feeling good Monday morning, and didn't go into work (which he never does... so he has to be really sick to call in). When I got home from work in the evening this is what our bath tub looked like! My first thought was throw up, then judging by the color I then thought BAD Diarrhea...... take a look for yourself...

In actuality it was residue from our lovely water heater and yummy Moscow water! Sean had shut of the hot water at the breaker, and turned the water in the bathtub full blast to "flush the system". He did this a few times letting the water run for at least 10 minuets, and each time this nasty crap came out. Although we regularly (sometimes worse than others) wash dishes, drink, and bath in this water, I hadn't realized just how bad it was!

Anyone want to come visit?!

Sean was pretty proud of this facial hair... Me on the other hand... not the biggest fan =) But I still love him!

Sean went to New Mexico in April (?) for a Chemical Engineering competition (which they won) and they went to White Sands National park for fun, these are a few pics from that.

They also went to Lewis and Clark Caverns... I want to go there some day!

This is a cake for the winners!

Palouse River falls, it was a lot bigger than I expected!

Our Aunts , Cousins and Grandma threw a baby shower for Tess in Vale when we were down there, they made this diapper cake for her. Very cute!

At the baby shower

On our trip town to Boise we went to Silver City with the Family. It is an "ghost town" in Idaho. I set the camera on a rock, I thought the tilted look was fun and artistic... Sean dissagreed!

I love Summer! It has been a beautiful, busy, and fun summer so far. And it is going way too quickly. I am just going to highlight a few of our adventures over the last few months...mostly pictures. You know what they say; A picture is worth a hundred words!
