Over Spring break Sean, Liam, Dom, Cailin and myself took a road trip to Seattle and Port Angeles. Liam was 4 weeks old. Crazy you mas say!?!??!?! Yeah maybe a little!
Cailin looks like a natural toting Liam around Seattle.
This picture is a great representation of our little hike down to the beach... Second Beach.
Our happy little family on the Ferries ride on our way home. Sean said that it was his first cruise... I hope some day we get to go on a real cruise!!!
Sean was pretty excited to see this =)
Seattle Center

Mick and Jim spoiled us and were our tour guides the whole day in Seattle. The Seattle Aquarium was one of our stops.
More beach pictures, that is Dom and I. My pictures are a little out of order.

Pike's Place Market
Sean and I have a picture in this exact location two summers earlier. I wanted to get another one, this time with Little Liam.
We made our way up to Port Angeles to visit Grandma and Grandpa Pierce.
Grandpa really loved holding Liam, he just kept saying how cute and how little he was. Grandma was pretty tickled that she got to see him before Jake and Tess... made her feel pretty special.
It was a fun, whirlwind spring break trip. We were glad Cailin and Dom came with us. Liam did great, good little sleeper in the car. I ended up getting a nasty cold the last day, but other than that we had a great time. Sean always says how much he likes it over toward Olympia, and would like to live there someday. I don't think i'd mind it =)

Med School Here WE come!
For those of you who don't know we (really meaning Sean) has been applying for Medical schools last year and this year with only rejections. But there is a light at the end of the dark tunnel... and we have been accepted to two schools!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One is in Denver, the other in Yakima. He also interviewed with a school in Pennsylvania, and we are still waiting to hear back from them. So we haven't made any decisions yet about where we are going, but we are going somewhere!!!!! We will be progressing toward something.
I am so proud of my man, and so excited for what is to come!

Liams Blessing
Baby Shower in Vale!!
My family was way too generous and I got some awesome gifts. Here I am showing off some jammies.
I'm not sure who's idea it was, but it was an awesome idea. Instead of doing the traditional baby shower games we did a craft/activity. My mom purchased wooden letters that spell Liam Walter and everyone participated by painting and docopadging (I don't know how to spell that) a letter. The kids painted little animals. They turned out really cute and now I have a decoration for Liam's room!!! Again, I thought this was a VERY good idea, really!
Everyone helped out with the food. There was lots of it and it was good! I (and probably everyone except my mom because she has amazing self control, ate way more than we needed to!)
I loved the baby shower. Thanks gals!
Making Dougnuts!
Liam's First Trip to Boise
I was able to stay in Boise for a little over a week. Thats on of the glory's of not working full time anymore! I had a great time, I love my family. They always take such good care of me and make me feel special and loved. We even got to celebrate my birthday (a few weeks late) while I was down there. I was given the royal treatment as is tradition in our family... Queen for a day!

2 Week Old Stats
Whats in a NAME??
In the end, we went to the hospital with three names we liked. Eli, Liam, and Walter. Eli and Liam were just names we liked. We didn't hear them any particular place or know any particular person with the names. Walter is a family name. Sean's paternal Grandfather was Walter, Sean loves and adores his Grandfather. My maternal Grandfather is Neil Walter. Growing up he was called Walt. I love and respect my Grandpa so much. It just seemed fitting to name our son Walter. We ended up naming him the day we left the hospital. It came down to Walter and Liam. The two names we liked best. And yes Sean was still pushing for Danger at this point. If we gave him his first name as Walter we would call him Walt, although I was afraid some people would call him Wally which I hate. It was a (for me) stressful decision process, should he be Walter Liam or Liam Walter. In the end we chose Liam Walter. I can't tell you a strong particular reason, but this is what we chose.
Our first few days home with Liam I still (secretly) wasn't sure about the name Liam. I sometimes regretted naming him that. But quickly the name began to fit him and now I couldn't see calling him Walter. He is our little Liam, and we love him so much!
Diaper Change
Liam does not like to have his diaper changed. I'm not sure what it is exactly about getting a diaper changed, but he screams and screams until you put one back on him. He is about one week old in this picture.... he wore Preemie sized diapers until he was almost 2 months old!
