Baby On The Way

In November we found out that we are going to have a baby.We are both really excited to be parents. So far we have only had one appointment. The pregnancy is going great. I have not been sick at all yet and hope that such luck will continue. It's really nice to be somewhat "normal" during such a huge life change and hormone change. Nathan is also really grateful that I have been doing so well. We are due at the end of June. So we are over the three month mark. We'll keep you all updated and let you see some pictures as the pregnancy progresses.

Thanksgiving

Above is our Christmas card picture.
(This year we sent cards to just family)
For Thanksgiving this year we went to California. We spent Thanksgiving with Nathan's family and had a wonderful time visiting everyone. It was so nice to see Grandma and Grandpa Brosi, Grandmama and all our other loved ones. Melanie took our Christmas card picture for us. Rachael had fun dressing Nathan up in his new sweater. Overall it was great fun. At the end of our stay in California we went to Sacramento to visit Grandma and Grandpa Peruch, and Uncle Bob too. It was so fun to see them again and they were so kind to send us home with some goodies. We are really excited about our picture drawn by Grandpa Peruch. He is so talented. Anyway we are both grateful for each member of our family. Life is getting better everyday and Nathan and I are really excited for our blessings to come. We are going to be moving into a condo soon. Our first real HOME. We are glad to not have to pay rent anymore. So as you can see we have been blessed greatly.

Holiday Plans

So a lot of people, including family, are asking what we are doing for Christmas. We are going to brave it out and fly almost all the way across America to PA. Although the plane ride is long, it will all be worth it. It will be great to see everyone again. Our schedules for our visit are pretty full but we are looking forward to at least a little relaxation.

Halloween

So this year there is a lot of talk going around about Governor Sarah Palin. SNL's Tina Fay has done a great job pretending to be her. There have been a couple of people tell me that I look a little like Tina Fay because of my hair and glasses. Honestly I don't look like her without the glasses. So anyway I decided, with lots of encouragement from Nate and some other friends, to be Tina Fay as Sarah Palin. Hopefully you could follow that story. I know it's complicated. Here are some pictures. Let us know what you think.

Nathan got home from work about 20 minutes before we had to leave for the Ward Trunk or Treat Chili cook off. So he was an Arsenal soccer player. Very Cute.

No Judging Allowed

So as I said before we are not the most photogenic people on the planet. We hope that, despite our sometimes unfortunate facial expressions, you enjoy the pictures.

Las Vegas Livin'

So most of you are probably wondering why we of all people are living in Vegas. Well I'll tell you the story so the questions get answered.

So there we were in Rexburg ID in the Fall of 2007. Nathan had just graduated from BYU-Idaho and I was scheduled to take the remainder of my classes online. We had to go somewhere. We needed to get some money. That's right , we were poor. So with a new degree and a fresh opportunity we moved to Las Vegas NV. Nate got a job as a manager for, you guessed it, Synergy Companies! (And he said he'd never work there again) Well it turned out to be the best move we have made so far. We are no longer poor and have a great apartment in the safe and casino free part of town. Well there are casinos everywhere so I guess not casino free but we are safe here. I am still taking classes online to Finish my degree.

We are in a great ward. Both of us have callings. Nate is the Teacher's Quorum Advisor and I am First Counselor in the Primary Presidency. We love working with the youth. They have such pure and simple testimonies of the gospel. The Las Vegas Temple is only about 20 minutes from our house and we love going. It's the most beautiful building in all of Vegas.

We have lots of friends here. The Davis family, the Kropf's and many more ward friends. Life here is great. So great that we often forget that we are living in the land of casinos and night life. Ask anyone who came to visit, we just don't like the strip. Sure there are some fun sights to see but lets face it there are some that we would like to forget too.

Anyway let us know if you are planning a trip to Vegas.

First Post

Who knew it was so hard to make a blog. Well, at least a cute one. I have been looking everywhere for a presentable background. And at last here it is! (For now) Nathan and I are really excited to finally have a blog where we can stay updated with all our friends and family. Now we need to get some nice pictures of us to post. That could present a problem. Nathan and I both aren't the most photogenic people on the planet. Oh well, we are here and welcome any advice on blogging.
