If you know me, chances are you've heard about the Day Zero Project. I might be border line obsessed with the idea. My family mocks me mercilessly about it. But it's simple and powerful and I love it. Make a list of 101 things you want to accomplish in 1001 days. (go
here to see where the idea originated).
I started my first 101 list in 2010 and finished up last September. I came up short by nearly 30 items. This time I'm determined to finish the blasted thing.
So far so good. I'm about 4 months into this round. I've checked a few off. Like...
*Learn how to Family Search Index and index 500 names.
This was surprisingly easy and took such a tiny amount of time.
*Make homemade Christmas cards and send them out.
To feed the frugal and occasionally crafty side of myself.
*Put together 40 different outfits with the clothes I own. No purchasing or repeating.
I'm just one of those people that grab the easiest pants and shirt to wear over and over and over. Pathetic that I had to physically set a goal to wear my other clothes? Perhaps. But still fun.
*Get a new library card
Kids=Trips to the public library
*Create a budget and actually live within it for three consecutive months.
Easier said than done, but we did it! Thank you, Dave Ramsey online budget spreadsheet.
*Get a new pair of glasses
My old pair was held together by masking tape and an old shoelace. It was time.
*Listen to all the talks from October General Conference twice before the April session.
Why didn't I do this before now? It's powerful stuff. (go here if you want to listen)
