toes and shoes

Kiara pretty much has everyone wrapped around her little finger. Look what she talked Brennen into doing for her! She got some new nail polish at the store with some decorating glitter stones and really wanted to try it out. Brennen is such a nice big brother! You will need to click on the pictures to see how her toes turned out.
Delma decided to walk around in my sandals. I was surprised that she got them on all by herself the right way and could walk in them. It was too cute, I just had to get a picture of it!

being silly

We were reading scriptures before bed one night and Delma got a little bored so she decided to entertain us by pulling a bowl out of the cupboard and putting it on her head...enjoy!

Zoo

We went to the zoo a few days ago. It was a lot of fun, we always enjoy a good outing to the zoo!
I love this picture!My two favorite girls!ahhhh, a brotherly hug...so cute!

Soccer

It's that time again...Soccer season! We love watching B and K play soccer. Brennen has been playing goalie this year. He is really good. It's a lot of pressure trying to stop that ball but he loves it. We are very proud of him. It is especially fun because two of his cousins Nolan and Kyler are on his team.
Kiara is a fast little runner and can quite a kicker. There is only one other girl on her team this year but she doesn't let those boys intimidate her!

Delma loves hanging out at the soccer games. She likes to kick the ball around and tries to copy her big brother and sister. What a cutie!

Recipe

My Family LOVES this recipe so I thought I would share it. It is pretty easy to make. I LOVE the crock-pot, best invention ever!

Crock-pot Meatloaf recipe
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
2 slices day-old bread, cubed
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons finely chopped green pepper (I usually leave this one out)
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1/4 cup ketchup
baby carrots (however many you want, my family loves it so I put a ton of carrots)
small red potatoes quartered (however many you want)

In a bowl, beat egg and milk. Stir in the bread cubes, onion, green pepper, salt and pepper. Add beef and mix well. Shape into a round loaf.

Place in a 5- qt slow cooker. Spread ketchup on top of loaf. Arrange carrots around loaf. Place potatoes over carrots.

Cover and cook on high for 1 hour. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook 7-8 hours longer or until no pink remains in the mean and the vegetables are tender. (mine usually only takes 6 hrs on low)
