Yesterday Parker had his annual right heart catheterization, the routine procedure that we dread more than anything else. It is over now and he did great--phew! What a huge relief that is!!!

We were at the hospital by 7:00am, the procedure was done by 10:20am and we were home by 4:00pm! He had to stay in bed after we got home yesterday and today he is supposed to take it easy (yeah, right...). Try telling that to a very active 4 year old :)

The test still shows systemic pulmonary pressures in his lungs, meaning, the blood pressure in his lungs is about the same as his body's blood pressure. In a normal person, the pulmonary pressures should be about a quarter of the body's blood pressure. So, his pulmonary hypertension is still considered severe, but it is not worsening at this point. He remains stable and responsive to his medications--that's good news, as far as we're concerned!

Thank you again for the many thoughts, prayers, and support. We truly felt them helping us through this! We continue to be incredibly grateful to our loving Heavenly Father, who allows us to care for this little miracle. What a blessing he is in our lives and the lives of all those who know him.

Parker, you are such a wonderful example to us and you are always so brave. We're so glad you did so well yesterday and that you like your new little kitty. We love you so much!!!
