Thanksgiving Point Petting Zoo

Earlier today Maddox and I went with Kara and Lola to the Petting zoo at Thanksgiving Point. It was a fun little adventure and it was so fun to see Maddox taking in all of these animals he normally only sees on tv. We first pet some cows and horses. Maddox wasn't really sure what to do so he would just look at them or wave and say "Hi". It was really cute.

We went on a tractor ride(it was really more of a wagon being pulled by two horses) and played in the jail, fed the ducks and saw a bunch of goats. It was a fun way to spend the afternoon and fun for Maddox to see animals besides a dog every once in a while :)

California!

It has been way too long since i have updated this thing! So A few things since the beginning of the year in our little family: I turned 25 in March, and started working part time in the early mornings and Ryan watches Maddox while I'm working. We went to California over mothers day and had our annual beach trip. We celebrated fathers day in utah and discovered cascade springs by accident and loved it! July was a super busy month. We did a 2 day Vegas trip with Blake, Julie and Nathan since Powell was a bust. We moved to a new condo, slightly smaller but much nicer an we are loving it. Ryan turned the big 3-0! We had Tucanos for Dinner followed by cake with family and friends after. In August, we have been busy working and getting settled into the new place.

Over labor day weekend Maddox and I took a roadtrip with uncle Kenny to visit Family and our 92 year old Grandma Jean who is slowly getting worse.it was a busy weekend of lots of family time and it was awesome! Maddox loved every second of his time with cousins and it was so fun to see them all play so well together. this was the first time since Jennys weding that all 7 siblings have been together. It was almost our whole family except Ryan who was in Wyoming visiting his Aunt and uncle and Jon who was hunting.  It was so great to see all of our family and spend some time with them.

It's been a while since I last posted, but we've been keeping busy! Maddox is almost 16 months and getting more and more fun by the minute. We love his sweet, fun, patient personality! Since september, we went to CA for Thanksgiving, I got super sick with strep and had to go to urgent care twice in a week. Then we had an early Christmas in Utah with Ryans family and stayed home just the 3 of us for the Christmas Holiday, all of us sick again. Ryan is working on his Rock Chip business and just started school today. Ryans Parents are leaving for Italy tomorrow morning and we will miss them like crazy, but we are excited to plan a trip to Rome :) Life is good and we have been enjoying the warmer weather while it lasts. Hope everyone had a great new year!
