Ward Trunk or Treat

This evening was our ward Trunk or Treat activity. Savannah and Ashlin dressed up as bumble bees and Savannah's friend (Lexa) was Hello Kitty. They had a great time together and came back with plenty of candy to hold mom and dad over until Halloween day.

1st day of Preschool (2nd semester)

Today Savannah starts her 2nd semester of preschool.  She had a nice, long, fun summer, but has been eager to start doing home work again and wear all Minnie Mouse clothing.  There are a few kids from the neighborhood and ward in her class, so hopefully she'll make some new friends.

Graduating from 1st year in Pre-School

Today Savannah had her graduation ceremony for her first semester of pre-school. There were six kids total; they sang some songs and had a few treats. Savannah looked really cute in her little graduation cap. I'm really proud of her for sticking with school and coming home each day to do her homework.

Savannah Started Riding a Bike

Savannah has been asking for a bike for awhile now, so, with the weather warming up and the snow starting to melt, we decided to get her one.  It was cute to see her try to pedal for the first time. Having never done it before, she just didn't have the coordination to get the bike moving....and steering for the first time was fun also.  We took her to the church parking lot so she can have the freedom to go all over the place and practice and she is getting it all down now. She's a pro!!!

Started Gymnastics and Ballet

We've started the year out by keeping Savannah really busy. We enrolled her in Pre-School, and now we signed her up for a ballet class and a gymnastics class.  She enjoys the classes and it is cute to see her run around in her little outfit. She's still at the age where it is difficult for her to listen to the instructor and follow instructions...she gets easily distracted by other kids.  But, she's having fun and we're having fun watching her.

First day of homework

Since Savannah started pre-school, today is her first day of homework. She is picking things up so quickly; learning her ABC's and 123's. We're so proud of the work she has done so far.

1st day of preschool

Too many changes going on lately with Savannah. She is done with Nursery, started Primary, potty trained, and now this. We signed her up in preschool.  Sister Norman, from our ward, teaches preschool out of her house and had some space for Savannah. She is excited to wear her backpack and start school. She keeps asking to ride her bike to school, so we'll need to get her one once the snow melts.
