Gravelly Point

Well, it seems like I'm updating about once a month. I have just added 3 posts, so don't forget to scroll down. It's worth the wait...right? :)

Luke loves all things that "GO." Planes, trains, buses, cars, motorcycles - it's all very exciting! We live near an airport, so we see the planes fly overhead a lot. He loves pointing them out. Last weekend we thought he'd enjoy getting even closer, so we went to National Airport. There is a park right by the end of the runway where people go to watch the planes take off or land, depending which direction they're going that day. We set up a blanket and at first Luke was just enjoying watching the people and the boats (another thing that goes and has to be pointed out every time we see one). Suddenly, a plane came! Luke loved it! We stayed there for about 45 minutes watching all the planes. Our time was cut short as a thunderstorm hit, but we really enjoyed it and I'm sure we'll be going back there a lot!

Chuck E. Cheese's

Luke had his first experience at Chuck E. Cheese's. My cousin, Megan, had her 3rd birthday party there for the whole family. It was as crazy as we expected it to be, but Luke had fun once he got over being overwhelmed. He liked all the cars, of course, and he had fun riding with Megan.

Luke loved this ride, but he thought the builder guy was a little weird.

This car went up and down and sideways, so it was a little scary, but he still wanted to do it twice.

Fun with Uncle Colin

Uncle Colin came home from Utah State earlier this month. He came to visit and Luke loved having someone to show off for other than his parents. Col is his first name that he said other than mommy and daddy. Of course, Marian wasn't too excited about that since she's been saying her name to him since he was born. He now says Mari, so it wasn't too far behind.

Luke loves buses right now. We must hear "bus" approximately 2,594 times a day! He does the motions for the whole song, but I cut it short to the cutest ones. He got so excited towards the end that he couldn't help but dance!
