Getting ready for Christmas!!!

I don't know about you...but I feel like time is always slipping away from me.At the end of each day I wonder how another day is gone.I feel like there just isn't enough time to get things done.We have been very busy lately just trying to get ready for Christmas and finishing up some projects on the basement. We have been able to do some fun activities as well.We took the kids to Thanksgiving Point to see Santa Clause and his Reindeer. They loved it!We also made a Gingerbread house as a family and we really enjoy topping off our nights with a cup of Hot Cocoa. We finally got some snow and it definitely feels like that time of year.Natalia is really enjoying preschool and play groups. She has her own sense of style lately that can be pretty eccentric. We try to meet somewhere in the middle.Gavin is so enthralled with cars, motorcycles, planes, trains, ect...We were out to eat the other night and he sat and played cars with his cheese squares for atleast 15 min. straight. It was so cute!!We have been heeding to the Gym every morning at 8:00.They have a nice childrens facility so we all go together. It has been fun and a great way to start our mornings. We will be heading to boise this weekened to spend time with my family. We are so excited to see them and spend time with them.

Workin on the Basement

We has been busy finishing our basement the past couple of weeks.Scott has done most of the work because I don't have a clue what I am doing but we are almost to the fun part.Painting and decorating and getting the furniture. It all has been very time consuming but it will be so worth it.We are hoping to get it done before Thanksgiving. Most of Scott's family will be coming to our place.I feel kind of bad for the kids because we have dedicated so much time to that and taken some of the focus off of them. They like to come down and "Help" though.

We are Home!!!

We are finally back in Utah.It feels so nice to be home.We were actually home for two days and then headed to Rexburg for Spud Harvest. For some reason Scott was craving some farm work.He is the hardest worker I know.He wears me out just watching him.I guess he just needed a change of pace and scenery. He actually is still there and should be back tonight. After Hurricane Ike we headed up to Dallas for a couple of weeks to finish up selling. We then headed over to Bullhead city AZ to see Scott's parents. It was so hot and dry there. We had a good time though. We were able to relax and catch up.It had been 6 months since we had seen his parents. We were also able to spend time with Kurt and Lacey and Lisa.they live in the area.We Headed over to Las Vegas and visited some friends there as well.
We are anxious to get settled in and back into a normal schedule. It has been pretty crazy lately. We have some fun events ahead of us!And I always look forward to the Holidys!!

Summer in Houston!!

We headed down south to Houston the end of April. It was a long drive with the kids but we made it!We came here for the summer because Scott is working for pinnacle security. He has been working his tail off since we got here.I feel pretty guilty at times because while he works... we play! There are 6 other families here that have kids. There are 5 little girls that are Natalia's age and she is loving it!They just cycle from one apartment to the next playing together. We also try to venture out and do fun activities.
Gavin cruises around pretty quickly now.We have to keep the door locked at all times because he always has a quick escape plan.He is very busy and curious. He also is ALL Boy.His favotite things are balls, cars, planes, trains, and doggies. Although we do catch him puting on Natty's tiaras from time to time. He is always smiling and happy even through his numerous falls and face plants. Lately when someone comes over he will go straight to the freezer to grab them a popsicle. He is the welcoming comitee and knows what is needed to endure this Texas heat.
Natalia turned 4 on July 8th.Scott was able to take the day off and we went to the zoo and took her to lunch. We came back home and had a princess party for her with a castle pinata. She loved it!When we first got here...She decided to give herself a haircut while I was in the shower.Luckily it was salvageable and has been great for the summer. She is full of life and always keeps things exciting. She loves everything to do with princesses and barbies.
We are really enjoying our time here.I have been lucky to have My fun sisters(in-laws)here to spend time with.My parents came out to visit the end of july.It was so fun to see them!!We plan on heading back to Lehi the first part of October.

Follow-Up

Our Blog has been pretty abandoned for about 6 months.Pretty sad huh?Hopefuuly I can sort of catch up here. The begining of the year consisted of Natty enjoying preschool and playing with friends,Scott stayed busy with recruiting and traveling. We also made a trip out east to visit Family and friends and celebrated Gavins first Birthday. Those were probably the biggest events. We also were preparing for our summer in Houston. We left for Houston the end of April.

Christmas 2007

We spent Christmas with Scott's family this year in Bullhead City AZ. His parents moved there just this past year. It was different to have a family gathering in a new location but we really enjoyed it.We also enjoyed the weather. The kids played with their cousins .Natalia and Chloe loved dressing up like princesses together. We played games and ate a ton of great food!! It was nice because all of his family was there at one point. It was great to see everyone. Santa brought Natalia a kitchen this year and a Baby Alive. She likes playing mommy.Sometimes we feel like she wants to grow up a little too fast! Gavin got a Teddy Bear and some books. The only bummer was that the kids were sick when we got home.I thing it was the shock of coming home to cold snowy weather. We are all healthy and well now.
