We had to get a picture with the girls in their dresses for Derek and Kimmy's wedding. They never actually got to wear them. They were going to go down with us, but where it was the first week of school we decided to fly and not take the kids last minute. And we were hoping to make it to the Boise reception but that didn't work out either. So...In honor of Derek and Kimmy!!! They sure look cute... Cute and cheesy:)

Our little Cheese Balls

Gma and Gpa Schwab
On our way home from Jackson we stopped in Bear Lake to visit Grandma and Grandpa Schwab, Scott's Grandparents. They had new baby kittens that they tried to talk us into adopting, too bad I am allergic.
Poor Grandma had a fall while we were there. It was so scary. One of her other great grands that is only 2 tried to jump to her off the tractor and they both came tumbling down. She probably only weighs like 75 or 80 lbs. I turned just as she was falling and couldn't get to her in time. Her head hit the pavement pretty hard. She is one tough cookie. We stayed awhile to make sure she was okay and she seemed pretty shaken up with a bump on her head, but other than that she seemed okay. I am so glad, It was so scary. We were happy that we stopped to see them, the kids had a ball.
The Beautiful Colter Bay
(According to scott, there is a bear somewhere in there:)
Our annual Labor day weekend with the Schwabs was one again success and as beautiful as always. We call it Colter Bay because that is a nearby spot that the Schwab's originally went even up until the first year we were married, but now they rent out a bigger cabin and 2 smaller cabins at a place called Signal Mountain Lodge right by Jenny Lake. They are both near Jackson Hole WY if you have no idea what I am talking about. It is breathtaking up there and I always love to go. Not as many people were able to make it this year, so that was a bummer, but it was still fun:) I even got to go out and run. I wanted to run all the way up signal mountain, but i was by myself and chickened out 4 miles up, thinking I might see a bear and not know what to do. I know, I know, BIG Chicken! It was a beautiful run though and I felt so at peace. Thanks so much to Scott's parents Sher Bear and Beav for making it happen once again!

Turning 27!!
I turned 27 on Tuesday.I remember when I turned 24 I felt like it was the perfect age. I felt old and mature, yet young and full of life. Guess I need to be happy I have 3 more years left in my 20's.Life is good though. I am so happy to have 3 healthy children that I care about so much and a hardworking husband thats still got it (even though he's 30;))Life is fun in all stages for different reasons and I guess we need to sit back and enjoy while stresses hang out on the wayside.(That's a hard one for me)
My Birthday was great.I get more excited for my kids birthdays than my own but it is always a day I can feel a little special. Scott and I went to the Sushi House for lunch(so yummy) and then we did a little bit of shopping. That night we had a Dinner with Scott's family. Sher Bear(Scott's mom) treated us all to dinner which was so kind. We had already checked into a hotel that is near our house earlier that day, so I was thinking we would just head back there but we had to "grab something" from home first and to my surprise had some friends and more family there to celebrate with a DQ cake. My favorite:)Thanks to everyone that stoped by it was fun and so nice of you! We then went back to the hotel, soaked in the hot tub, and relaxed. We even slept in till 9:30 which NEVER happens. Thanks to everyone that helped watch our kids while we were away. Here's to another good year!!

First Family Camping Trip
We haven't even attempted to go camping as a family all these years.Scott has always preferred the cabin setting. Natalia requested that we go camping for the night of her birhtday, and when Scott was all about it I was excited. It is pretty coveniant that we can drive a half hour up the canyon into full on camping territory. We had a great time. We borrowed Travis and Andreas huge tent and set it up while our tin foil dinners were cooking in the fire. The dinner was simple yet delicious with hamburger, onion, carrots, potatoes and seasoning. After dinner we played and went on a walk. The kids found a dog that they played with for awhile.too. We also roasted smores, they are so so yummy with reeses cups, I had like 4. The night went better than expected and we survived our first one nighter maybe we'll get brave and go for 2 next time:)
Natalia's 7th Birthday
Natalia turned 7 on July 8th.Her birthday is always a big deal planned year round and plans are always changing but when it comes down to it she pretty much goes with the flow.I asked if she would like a Luau theme with water games and a BBQ and she went with it so that was easy. There are so many good girls her age in our neighborhood. Many of them were able to make it and then she also had a few of her cousins there. Natalia is a great leader. She is always eager to learn and is way to mature for her age but I know it will be good down the road. We love her so much!!Her party was a success!
