Where in the World? (or I guess USA)

Tyler has been busy interviewing for residency programs in December and January.  Thankfully today is his last one and he'll be home for good for a while!  My friend made a map of all her husbands interviews and I had her make one for Tyler's.
So, chances are excellent that we will be coming further West.  Match day isn't until March 16th, but we can't wait to find out where we'll be headed.
Where do you want to come visit us?

3 Month Photo Shoot

Our cutie had her 3 month pictures taken last week, by my friend Lisa (lisaruthphotography.com)  She did a great job!  I think they are just darling. I am aware that this might be overkill to show you all of these, but I couldn't decide which ones to share...

In her blessing dress.  I love how she's holding it!

By this point, she was super cranky, so we were lucky to get any good ones of her whole dress.  Lisa did a great job at editing this photo so you can't see me holding her!
Thanks!  We love them!!

Bridgette Video -- Rolling and Dancing

St. Louis and Baylor

I am doing a few interviews lately for my orthopaedic residency. Here are a few photos from them.
This is Baylor College of Medicine. Contrary to popular belief, they have not been associated with Baylor University if Waco for more than 50 years. They are in Houston, TX and the facilities were amazing. There are 13 hospitals all around this small area, and they are all about 30 stories tall. I didn't know if I was in a hotel or a hospital half the time.

I have also been to St. Louis lately. I thought I would stop by the arch and see what it as like.

You ride in this tiny little pod that is about as wide as a dining room table and seats five. It reminded me of Men in Black when I saw it.

Bridgette's Blessing Day

We blessed Bridgette while we were in Utah, so our families could participate.  It was such a special day for our family and we feel so lucky to have such a beautiful, happy baby in our family.
With Grandma Melville who made her beautiful dress.
I love how long it was!
Our little family after the blessing.  Tyler did a great job and I am so proud to have a husband who is a worthy priesthood holder!

Here's my side of the family who could come.
Everyone minus Grandma:

The Moore side of the family:

Afterwards, we had a big party at the house with a yummy taco bar.  It was a great day and we're so glad we could share it with our family!

New Years Eve Bash

We had a killer party this year for New Years Eve!  We started out with our traditional cheese fondue, followed by chocolate fondue for dessert.  Mmmmm....
We hit the pinata.  After the kids got several rounds of whacks at it, and only the legs missing, it was the big boys' turn.  Tyler busted it open!  Look at that form!
We also played Minute to Win It games that I organized.  It was a lot of fun and pretty hilarious, as evidenced by these pictures:  Cookie Face!

The big boys found the firecrackers and chased poor Ana and Tori all over the place, and we also did our traditional poppers complete with dorky crowns.
My personal favorite is the dance party, which turns into the sisters and kids dancing with the husbands sitting on couches laughing at us!  It was sweet this year with glow sticks and Tyler as the strobe light.
After the little ones went down to bed, we played Murderer in my parent's vacant house behind them.  Talk about freaky!!

At midnight, we celebrated the traditional way- cah cahs and cheering.  Perhaps a little smootch as well...

Happy New Year!  2011 was a great year, especially because we added the cutest baby into our family, but I have a feeling 2012 is going to be amazing too!  (Probably just because Tyler is graduating...)

After Christmas in Layton

After opening presents in St. George, we drove up to Layton to be with my family.   Bridgette got some cute bath toys, books, and outfits.   I got new bathroom rugs and shower curtain (I really needed them!), Target gift card, sweater dress, waterbottle, adorable purse and other cute crafts from Laura.  Tyler got a dress shirt, Best Buy gift card, remote control helicopter, and BYU license plate cover.  Thanks everyone!!

We had 14 people and 2 dogs staying over at the house, so it was constantly crazy and always something to do.  We stayed downstairs, and couldn't hear Bridgette when she napped, so she slept in this cute Moses basket upstairs.
 Hanging out with Aunt Jenny.
 Playing with Popcan.
Bridgette and I were able to be there for Brady's 1st birthday party.  He was totally hilarious eating his cake and I got this adorable picture.  Pure cuteness!!
Carrie's 2 year old Eli, loved "Baby Bridgette" and was very interested in her.  So cute!

Other highlights were skiing- Tyler got to go while I stayed home with Mom & Jenny to watch 5 kids under age 5.  Lets just say it's good I only have B right now!   Here's everyone picking up skis:
Grilled pizzas at Emily's.  Isn't it great we could grill in December?  Here's all the sisters:

Dinner at Red Robin, lots of walks and playing outside in the nice weather.  I tried putting Bridgette face forward in her carrier and she loved looking around at everything.
Tyler was able to go to 2 interviews while there- Baylor in Houston and Albuquerque.

Christmas down South

We spent Christmas down in St. George with the Moores this year.  Bridgette got to meet her Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Baugh.  We were so happy to see them since Tyler's Grandma just had knee surgery.
B spent quality time with her Aunt and Uncles:
Fell asleep with her Grandma:
Took baths in the slippery sink:
And had plenty of time to play with Daddy:
On Christmas Eve, we had a yummy prime rib dinner and played an intense game of Scum. Our little family:

Christmas morning, the big kids opened presents while Bridgette slept.  Tyler got a BYU hoodie, grill stuff, and plane ticket for one of his interviews.  I got a new planner, wallflowers, baby food processor, slippers and a cute scarf.  Tyler and I headed off to an early sacrament meeting and then came back to open B's presents.
Bridgette got lots of new books, a Christmas ornament, and a cute "soothing seahorse".
She loves it!

Christmas wouldn't be complete without a meltdown right?

Other fun things we did in St. George were seeing Breaking Dawn with Kylie, getting manicures, shopping, playing games, and exercising.  Tyler played lots of sports and saw MI 2 with the boys.  We also caught up with Tyler's high school/BYU buddies at Kneaders for French toast.
We are grateful for the time to be with family and to celebrate the birth of Christ.  Merry Christmas!!
