Little Lady Bug!

This year for Halloween Bridgette was a darling little lady bug.  (Double up the use of her tutu).
We got to dress up for singing class this week.  This is with Bridgette's friend, Rebecca, who is 9 months old.  We just loved these babies and their tutu bums crawling around.
At our ward trunk or treat.  Tyler was able to join us, hooray!  I love this picture because this is what Bridgette has been doing all day lately.  Pointing to things to show us!

Sunday afternoon we finally got to carving the pumpkin.
She wasn't interested in it afterwards, but is obsessed with this little pumpkin which she plays with everyday.
Happy Halloween!

Funny video

Bridgette has started to laugh at nothing lately and I think it's hilarious.  She is just so happy!

Fall Activities

Although it doesn't feel like fall here, we have been enjoying spending time outside and doing some fun activities.  General conference weekend we headed down to San Diego to meet up with Tyler's sister, Kelsey, who was there for a conference.  We walked around Seaport Village. (Cute candy corn onesie was my conference project.)
Bridgette and I went to pumpkin farm with a petting zoo.  We met up with other Medical student/resident families from UCI.
Bridgette totally loved seeing the animals close up, even when a goat was trying to eat her sock.

Here are all the cuties.
Bridgette has become particularly curious about opening things which has made my house a constant mess!
Bridgette went to the dentist last week for the first time.  They didn't do much but they sure pampered her! (And told me to floss her teeth?  Ha ha!)
And just because this is my favorite picture right now:

Bridgette's First Birthday!!

Party Invitation
We were so happy we could celebrate Bridgette's birthday with family!  We had it on Saturday at the Moore's house.  I planned a 3 Little Kittens themed party since it is one of Bridgette's favorite books.
Here is the cute birthday girl in her outfit made by me.
Our family with the birthday banner.  We were lucky that Tyler could get the weekend off to join us!  (And drive back with!)

Decoration table.  Party favors were "cat food"- Swedish fish for the grown ups and goldfish for the babies.
We made pizza "pie" to eat and had salad and fresh fruit.
She really warmed up better this time to Tyler's family.
With Grandma Moore.  We were sad Grandpa Moore couldn't make it.
 Bridgette with her Great Grandparents.
Bridgette loved getting presents!  She really was interested in each of them.

With all her gifts.  She has been playing nonstop with all her new stuff since we've been home.
After presents, we had cake.  Emily helped me design and make her kitty cake.  It turned out so cute!

 The squash cake.
Eating her cake.  She wasn't nearly as messy as I had hoped, but dainty is her personality!  I helped her out a little to get her interested.
 Enjoying the frosting!
 With Aunt Kylie.
Happy Birthday to the most beautiful sweet little girl I know!  We love you!
Climbing onto the dishwasher for a better spot to grab spoons.
For her actual birthday today, we played with some friends, and had birthday cookies.  It took her a while to figure out it tasted good, but then loved it!

St. George Girls' Trip

I met my sisters, Emily and Laura, down at our family condo in St. George for a Girl's trip.  We squeezed lots of fun into 3 days!  The kids had lots of fun together, and totally interacted with one another.
Playing on the bed.

Thursday went to the sand dunes in Snow Canyon.  This was our favorite place to play when we were little.  Bridgette loved the sand way more than the sand at the beach.
All the babies enjoyed playing and tasting it!

I borrowed the Moore's giant diesel pickup truck so we could fit 3 babies in the back and 3 adults in the front.  It was pretty funny to see me drive it!
We had yummy sundaes at Nielson's Frozen custard!  Mmmmm.   This girl knows good stuff when she tastes it!
Friday we went out to breakfast at the Bear Paw on Main Street.  Bridgette tried scrambled eggs for the first time and loved them.  Our poor waitress had a huge mess to clean up after 3 babies got done eating.  Ha ha!
We walked over to a splash pad and played for a while.
That afternoon we visited our old piano teacher and caught a little of the Swiss Days Festival.  That night Emily and I decorated Bridgette's cake for the party Saturday.  (Post on birthday party coming.)

Laura had found a cute Halloween wreath to make.  I love it!  We also went swimming at the pool and ate tons of peaches (courtesy of the Moores)!
A successful girls trip!
