You can find Hillary on the church website.  She participated in a Youth Discussion Group when she was in 8th grade and they put about a 30 second clip of her and several of her friends in the group.  She has changed a lot in appearance in 2 years.  The website is:  worthymusicworthythoughts.lds.org     Check it out.

Easter Sunday 2008

The snow finally melted!
ya!  I know it looks like dirt, only.  But if you look close you can see the beginnings of tulips.
Easter Sunday was a lovely day. Wayne told the two girls that they could have Easter dresses if they were matching and they wore gloves and hats with them.  They said, "No, thank you."  I guess those days are gone.
Hillary sang, " I Know That My Redeemer Lives", at a devotional meeting in memory of a 15 year old girl who died on Saturday.  She cried while she sang.
It was a very emotional day.  How grateful I am for my knowledge of the plan of salvation and that we all will be able to see our loved ones again someday after they die.  I know that my Redeemer lives.

Colder Somewhere other than Logan!

They make you cold just by looking at them!
These pictures were taken in a little town called Versoix, a town just outside of Geneva City in Switzerland.
The lake is called Leman.
These pictures make me feel grateful to live in cold Logan!
Spring is coming and we are losing snow everyday from the front yard.  Yah!
I am so excited to see Spring bulbs come up.  I planted a lot of new ones last fall.  I love Spring!!

What does a growing thirteen year old boy eat for a snack?----  A triple peanut butter and jam sandwich, possibly several times a day.
Austin is growing upwards quickly, probably due to all the extra calories he's putting in.
He is still as sweet and kind as ever.  We love you, Austin!

ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS

Chris & Annie are engaged to be married on May 2.
I took pictures of them on Sunday, with a little helpful assistance from
Madi and Hillary.
It had snowed on Saturday, a lot. The new snow made for beautiful Wellsville Mountains.  We really weren't that cold, except in the shade. We eventually took about 300 pictures.
Isn't digital photography fabulous?
If you don't like pictures, you just delete them with one press of a button.

My first granny square!

Don't look too close, all of you who are experts at crocheting.  This is my first attempt at completing a granny square.  I crocheted and uncrocheted many times to get to this point. I think the crochet instructions are another language, really.
This second picture is my inspiration.
I really wanted to make a whole afghan with random colors throughout to use up all my yarn.  An afghan could be cute!
