The sixteenth season of Bob's Burgers refers to the sixteenth broadcast season. The season started with "Grand Pre-Pre-Pre-Opening" on September 28, 2025. Episodes airing in 2025 premiered at 9:30 PM ET/PT on Sundays, while episodes airing in 2026 premiered at 8:30 PM ET/PT, except for "Smellbound," airing at 9:30 PM ET/PT.

On April 2, 2025, Bob's Burgers was renewed for a further four seasons taking the number of seasons up to nineteen.[1]
On May 18, 2025, in response to a post asking creator Loren Bouchard if there'll be a Halloween and Christmas episode for the season, Bouchard stated there would.[2]
On July 26, 2025, the panel for San Diego Comic-Con 2025 revealed "Grand Pre-Pre-Pre-Opening" as the premiere episode of the season,[3] in addition to reconfirming a Halloween and Christmas episode, which will end up being "The Twinnening" and "It's a Stunterful Life," respectively, showing details for both. The panel also showed animatics for multiple episodes, including one for "'Til Death Do Us Art."[4]
The panel also confirmed Jamie Demetriou as a guest star for the Halloween episode,[3] which the panel for New York Comic Con 2025 on October 11, 2025, reconfirmed the episode as "The Twinnening" after its press release. In addition, the later panel revealed Demetriou will voice twin characters in the episode, who ended up being Gabriel and Gideon, and returning cast members for upcoming episodes: Kurt Braunohler returns as Logan in "It's a Stunterful Life" with Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Jeong as Dr. Yap and Sharon Horgan as Kathleen in "The Secret Guardin'," Merrin Dungey in "Tube for Tina," and Tim Meadows as Mike the Mailman. Bobby Tisdale, Sam Seder, and Ron Lynch will return as Zeke, Hugo, and Ron, respectively, for "Get Her to the Zeke," in addition to revealing the episode's plot. The panel also revealed the plot for "Tube for Tina" and showed animatics for multiple episodes, with those confirmed for the season being "The Twinnening" and "It's a Stunterful Life."[5][6]
