What is spirituality, and faith?
A question pondered, and hoping to lead to greater understanding of ourselves and each other through discussion. Just what does your spirituality mean to you? What is faith, beliefe, spirituality in your eyes, and how has it changed you?

It is always something that effects people in a large way or another, something special, deep and personal, perhaps it's just my observation, but it seems to bea very important role in our lives, teaching us lessons and helping us through hardships. Right or wrong I don't believe any beliefe is, I believe that so long as it does not hurt others, and that it helps people grow in their lives, and brings happiness, it is worth it, and right for them.

Dreamt of Wolves once more

Dreaming of Wolves

01/27/06-

The setting was inside a building remniscent of a coffee shop with oak furniture, the walls were painted with an autumn-themed forest with wolved covering it in every corner of said painting. I was wearing a black jacker with black jeans, a black beancap, and white sneakers. As I looked into the paitning, the scenary came alie, and the wolves formed around us (there were more people wearing the same attire as I), they peeked through the painting with curiosity I howled to them until their ears perked and all turned their attention to me. A large greywolf leaped form the painting and walked towards me. I remember kneeling down and bowing my head, having a bit of a fright being that a wild animal was nearing me, and the other wolves looked intentively as well.

Then the large wolf dips his head and touches my forehead with his nose. We stay in that position for a while, then the wolf backs away from me. As I raise my head I see the wolf with an expression of acceptance towards me, then gets closer once more, laying down beside me.

All of the sudden I see Mother in front of me, and the wolf takes notice of this, looking at her with a wary expression on his face. My Mother backs away from his glare, and I am left alone with the wolf and the rest of the pack in the same place which slowly turns into a big forest.

That was the only thing I can remember of this dream, whereas the next I had only days prior, goes as follows:

02/02/06

Urban Wolves.

Wolves wandered at night in this urban setting, the streets were wet with rain that just ceased to pour down the concrete forest. There were no stray dogs for it seemed that wolves were the ones replacing said animals in here. They were as affraid of the humans as a stary dog would be, just walking by them or aknowledging their presence, but never letting man touch them or pat them for any reason.

I was in there too, the same street the wolves wandered by, I was wearig the same kind of attire as I did weeks ago in the other dream, and sat down on concrete steps from an old store's porch, watching in awe all the wolves and their everyday activities in the city.

I am not sure why, but I recall hearing Moby's ambient music in the setting, combined with the noise of cars driving on wet concrete. It was peaceful.

One thing I noted, was that the wolves here were represented the same way as the ones drawn in Wolf's Rain. They were all exquisitely pictured. They seemed to aknowlegde me as they did any other person around, I recall one being at my side the whole time I was watching over the rest.

Another thing to note was that there were Werewolves as well, but they kept being in the dark, away from view, especially whenever a human being would pass by. I am lost as to why that was, being that their four-legged cousins seem to have no problem with them around.

This is the 4th time I dream of Wolves, whether I am one or just an expectator of said wonderful animal in my dream. Make that the 5th time, being that at one time, years ago, a brown-furred shewolf aided me in walking out a foggy forest. The second dream was of werewolves (me being one myself) living in an apartment complex mirroring the one I used to live in, long ago in the same city. The third time was me as my own wolf I draw at times, laying besides a sleepy Swiftkill (whose character was created by my good girl-friend Kay Fedewa), the fourth and fifth times I just explained above.

It has been a long time since I had dreamt of my brothers and sisters indeed.

Help
I have recently really come into totemic knowledge and that and am searching out my totem spirit. i have searched through books and the web and seeked the guidance of others with deeper roots in totemic ground and still find myself only seeing my spirit at a distance. i can easily make out the feline shape of the spirit but it's true form is hidden from me. through my searches and with guidance i feel i have it narrowed down pretty well. i find myself staring down two paths that seem to make sense but i know only one is true. one path leads to a snow leopard and the other has a lynx and though both are very similar they have some differences...and i was wondering if anyone in this group or elsewhere could help me better understand these subtle differences so that i will truely know my spirit...thank you for all your help.

Feel free to post questions, request, and topics
If anybody wants to start up a topic of discussion, ask for help, ask advice or any questions, or even just a freindly post, go right ahead. This place is open for discussion so long as it stays civil, and maybe we can all learn a bit from one another in the process too.

first post and introduction
Ok here goes, time for introductions, and since I started this place I should go first.

I'm Fox, japanese name is Kotetsu Tenson, and I'm a Kitsune.

I'm a white furred, multitailed kitsune, and to exactly how many tails, well that's not important to know, hehe. I have black wings on my back that I keep out, a gift from somone I helped awhile ago, and I always were a red banadan around my neck, it holds meaning to me, and I just like it too. I'm a myobu, and a celestial kitsune if you are interested in that type of information. I spend my time helping others, kitsune and otherwise, with spiritual and personal problems, I enjoy making people happy, and seeing them happy, and I work hard to make sure that happens. I have always known I was a fox, though I did not realise I was a kitsune till more recently, but that was due to not knowing there was a term for what I was. I was lonely for quiet awhile until I saw somone else with similar feelings and beliefs and followed them into a group known as furrys. I've since taken on a role of helping others inside and out of the group, to help others find themselves and the answers that lay in the world. I have no set beliefe structure, no religion, I really only settle on things that are proven to me without a doubt, much like Kitsune has, and my father being a wolf has, the rest is up in the air until I am able to see enough. I don't turn away any beliefe, rather I try to understand and learn from it, to see another perspective and help me grow. I teach and help on nuetral grounds so as to be able to help as many as possible, so don't be afraid to ask no matter what you believe.

I'm not exactly a young fox, I thought I was, but time reveals a lot, but just becuase I'm not young, doesn't mean I'm old, just experienced, hehe. I'm the son of a ninetailed Kitsune, and a wolf, raised by my father the wolf and tought a lot of wolven ways, so I tend to be very wolven at times, so don't mind that.

If anybody has any questions, or needs any help or just somone to talk to, give me a ring, either on here, email, IRC, or AIM, and I'll do what I can to help, it's my job and my life. I hope we can all come to know each other well and have a nice Kitsune family going on here.
