I haven't felt so miserable and exhausted in fifteen years. I haven't seen Tonks yet, which I suppose is a good thing, given--well, given. I'm pretty sure I've--well...I mean well in doing this. But it's hurting her, and that...makes it difficult. To say the least. Augh. I hate this.

Sirius hit his head pretty hard, so he was in and out of consciousness last time I saw him, but from what he said it seems like that gold thing we found is more important than we--or at least I--thought. I hope Dumbledore managed to get it back.

That was a lot worse than I expected it to be. Then again, I didn't expect whispers and mirrors falling and strange little golden things...

Er...I could've done without hearing--what I think was James being, as usual, a cocky, arrogant prat. Of course, he was being a cocky, arrogant prat to Voldemort, as far as I could tell, so that--no. That was worse than I thought. Definitely worse.

If it wasn't James then there's some very nasty person somewhere with a recording of him taunting that damned snake. Or an equally nasty spirit, in any case.

Er...does anyone actually know where Dumbledore's gotten to? Or Harry, for that matter? Dumbledore seems to have this tendency to vanish over the summers and Harry is--Harry.

Also, he hasn't answered a few letters, people are worried, and I may have to have a word with him.
