I'm sorry I've been gone for +months.
To be honest, I'm busy as hell. I don't really have the time... or the heart, to update this place weekly.
There aren't many people who still come around here, so I don't know how it will go over. I don't want to close Dirty_angels, because this place means alot to me. I just can't keep up with the sched' of loadloadload every week.
I've not been here for almost three months. No, wait, three sounds about right. The original mods would have never done that...
And I do believe, by all standards, that I am a disgrace as a co-mod.
If anyone else wants to step up to do the job... please. If no one will, then... I'm going to have to hiatus the community. I'm not being a lazy prick, I just can't do it. I thought I'd be able to, but I just... can't.

We have a new mod! kazusakasumi! Yay!
She's going to be helping me and stuff because I am in the middle of a mental breakdown. Yeah, so, be nice as she is going to be the main supplier of music.
kazusakasumi: You can do pretty much anything you like. Change, add, remove, whatever. If I don't like it, I'll mumble about it, hint that you change it and then probably leave it alone. I'm not fussy about this right now. Just have some fun and provide the people of the world with Jrock!!! ^^; Thank you for doing this. It would have been very painful for me to just abandon this community.

Dir en grey - Dead Tree [live].
I was going to upload Clever Sleazoid because it pwns my soul, but I've seen it up all over the place and thought maybe not. So, I uploaded one of the lives on the single. Dead Tree is a beautiful song, but when it's live...*dies* Kyo just sounds so...desperate and pathetic. He really is a brilliant performer. He manipulates his voice to blend perfectly with the mood of the music and lyrics. This is a must have. It'll make your heart clench with sorrow.

Just for curiousity's sake: Who is in your top three favourite J-rock bands? And who are your top three solo artists?
My bands are:
1.Dir en grey.
2. Pierrot.
3. A band I'm not supposed to mention in this community.
Solo:
1. Gackt.
2. Kirito (he hasn't really done much, but he's here anyway).
3. Aya.
Also, the rotation is going to change somewhat. Unfortunately, Friday in America starts 3pm Friday in Australia which is when I start work. I also work Saturday mornings (Friday afternoon/evening) and find it difficult to have the rotation posted by then. On Sunday's I'm a junior instructor at my local Pony Club and then have a two hour lesson with my own trainer. Basically, what this means is I don't have much time over the weekend. So, instead of having the rotation on a Friday, it's just going to be a weekend thing. Anywhere between Friday and Monday. Hope this doesn't hassle anyone.

This rotation has a sort-of-not-quite theme. It's songs that make me weak in the knees for different reasons. It's not every song that does this to me because there are certainly quite a number that do, but these are the few that I can never get tired of listening to.
Artist: Dir en Grey
Title: Cage
Comment: It's the start of the song that really does it in for me. If you haven't heard it, there is an introduction that sounds like a music box and I love music boxes. It makes me shivery and you just know that this song is sad and tragically beautiful. No wonder when you consider what Kyo is singing about. The music box just fits it so perfectly and you can just see in your minds eye this child sitting in a dark room, battered and bruised, crying over a broken music box with a bent ballerina twirling and twirling and twirling. I actually drew a picture of this while listening to this song...I highly recommend this.

Comment: I also love when a vocalist suddenly changes pitch. It's...well, it's awesome. I'm not really sure what Kirito does here because it sounds like his voice is completely different. It could even be Aiji or Jun, for all I know, but it does sound still sound like Kirito and I love it. It's Pierrot and I love Pierrot, so yes. Another highly encouraged song.

Title: Raven Loud Speeeaker
Comment: Piano. I love pianos. I love pianos in rock music. This is a very awesome song. It is rocking and at the same time beautiful and Yomi's voice just ties it all together so very nicely. And the guitar is quite awesome too. I actually fell in love with the instrumental version before I heard the vocal version. If you love Nightmare and pianos like I do, you'll certainly love this song. It's taken the place of number one Nightmare fave on my list.

Title: Lost Graduation
Comment: I saved this one for last. When I first heard this song I broke out in goosebumps and started crying for reasons beyond my knowing. It is...so very indescribable. I'm not really positive about why I love it so much. The music is...piano, again, and gorgeous and the lyrics...if you know Raphael then you know about Kazuki, who was the vocals and writer of the band. However, he commited suicide when he was just nineteen and it really broke the hearts of the band. If I'm not mistaken, they were all quite close. In my heart, I believe this song is about Kazuki's life and how he felt about it. It's a song about suicide, feeling your life has become nothing, the pain and loneliness is not worth it and the only thing left is to step off from the ledge and hope that the next life brings you something better. It almost seems like Kazuki's suicide note. I didn't know this when I first heard the song, but I could feel it in the music and in the vocals. It's quite powerful. Please listen to it, even if Raphael doesn't appeal to you.

Chacha is quite talented at composing. That's all I can say, really. They're both really great songs. One is a nice and elegant song, the other is a more rock song. I can see why Gackt has a high respect and value for him as a musician...He's quite talented with lyrics as well.
