Soutane is a knuckle-shaped top of a Catholic, Coptic, or Anglican clergyman, with narrow sleeves. The only knielange garment for approaching clergy is called Soutanelle. Soutane ist ein mit engen Ärmeln versehenes knöchellanges Obergewand eines katholischen, koptischen oder anglikanischen Geistlichen. Das nur knielange Bekleidungsstück für angehende Geistliche heißt dagegen Soutanelle.
