Estreñimiento

Constipation, stigma or stiffness is a condition that consists of the lack of regular movement of the intestines, which causes an infrequent defecation or exertion, usually of rare and hard stools. The normal defecation frequency varies between people, from a few times a day up to three times a week. It can be considered a disorder as it alter or not the quality of life. It is not uncommon for this condition to also be called constipation of the belly or intestine. El estreñimiento, estitiquez o estiptiquez es una condición que consiste en la falta de movimiento regular de los intestinos, lo que produce una defecación infrecuente o con esfuerzo, generalmente de heces escasas y duras. La frecuencia defecatoria normal varía entre personas, desde un par de veces al día hasta tres veces a la semana. Puede considerarse un trastorno según altere o no la calidad de vida. No es infrecuente que a esta condición también se le denomine constipación de vientre o intestinal.
