Apr. 1st, 2026 10:50 pmabyss_valkyrieHello, all! Welcome to Round 63. The weather everywhere is such that we’re finally able to step outside. For those in the Southern hemisphere, it’s not winter yet, so let’s take this time to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible.
For this round all icons must depict the characters being outdoors. If you don’t want to use the original backgrounds, you can always use stock or textures to mimic the outdoors.
( Inspo icons, textures, colour palettes, words & quotes )
1. Sign ups will be open to the end of this round, which will be the 2nd May, 2026.
2. You don't have to sign up, but some people enjoy the challenge of sticking to their theme.
3. Post your 10 icons either in your graphics comm or as a post in this community. If you post at your graphics comm, make a post here also and link to your comm with 3 icons as preview.
4.Since this is a fandom community, please icon fandoms only. You can incorporate stock into the icons but it must be primarily a fandom centered icon.If you have any questions,please ask below. :)

Hello dear friends,
I'm taking over mod duties for the rest of this round, in agreement with
abyss_valkyrie.Here are the rules again for clarity:
Theme-specific rules for the current challenge:
For this round, each of your fandom icons must contain hearts, flowers, or both in some way. They can be a pattern on clothing, a doodle on a notebook, a foreground texture, or a background texture; or a bouquet, boutonniere, or corsage/wrist corsage. Just so they're visible to the human eye on the finished icon!
General rules for all challenges in this comm:
1. Sign ups will be open to the end of this round (deadline see below).
2. You don't have to sign up, but some people enjoy the challenge of sticking to a theme.
3. Please post your 10 icons either in your graphics journal/community or as a post in this community. If you post in yours, please also make a post here with a link to your journal/community and 3 icons as a preview; and please make the entry public until the round's results are announced.
4. As this is a fandom community, please make fandom-themed icons. You can incorporate stock, but every icon must be primarily fandom-centered.
5. Please use the below template when posting. Remove the space between the last "/" and "textarea".
-> There is no rule that you can only icon two fandoms.
-> There is no rule that you have to sign up or claim anything if you don't want to.

STEPPING DOWN AS MOD
Mar. 8th, 2026 01:02 amnondenomifanI have made the decision to step down as moderator of this community, effective immediately. Apparently, there are members here who feel I don't have what it takes to moderate this community with its individual quirks.
As my being a moderator here had already been a strain on me--what with being a caretaker for an elderly mother with heart issues, fall risks, and diabetes II--this is not a difficult decision to make. I'm trying to decide whether or not I'll remain as a member; but I have a feeling none of my icons will place, as they never did in the past.
Thank you for turning something I do for therapy into another stressor, those of you who complained about me and threatened to leave the community.
Oh, and thank you for adding more stress toabyss_valkyrie's life, now, as she will be back to running the community herself with her busy work life. I hope she'll be able to finish the current challenge in a timely manner for you because I'm out.
