Of the rest, I like the blocked Cinderella (#1), the pink bkgd from XO Kitty, the sparkly rainbow bkgd, the girls holding hands, the violet-blue wave bkgd (SO COOL and fits the foreground perfectly!).
My favorite icons of the lot are blocking, your entire category set, and the violet-blue wave bkgd. (Do you have tutorial links for the way you did the category set? Those are seriously amazing.)

Date: 2026-04-15 10:01 pm (UTC)Awww, thanks! <3 I don’t currently have any tutorial links, but I can try explaining how I did my category set. My goal was to make all the icons in the set have every color in the palette. First I took a screenshot of the color palette itself and then literally used it to create many different backgrounds/textures for the icon set. Some were easier and faster to make (like the ones with stripes), but the others took longer to make because I wanted to create different shapes and patterns while keeping the category set all cohesive. It also took a while for the coloring to look just right (I brighten it, then soften it, then repeated it again until I was satisfied with the results). It took a long time, but I’m really happy with the results. Maybe someday (when I have more time) I’ll share a tutorial here of the process. <3

Date: 2026-04-16 11:53 am (UTC)we especially love blocking, your last unicorn landscape, the one of kitty in pjs sitting in bed all cosy, and in extras, the glittery rainbow background one of kitty, and that lovely swoopy purple-blue background you gave to yuri! those backgrounds are so perfectly matched to the subjects! they create a strong sense of personality even if you don't know the characters. (we haven't seen to all the boys/xo kitty, but we loved the aesthetic of those 2 icons so much we looked up who the characters were, so we could tell you how much we loved them, lol.)
and we love your use of colour and light & shade, in all of these. beautiful work!
