Miro

This is one of the 'go look at it' links. I have no idea what it is that I was planning on doing with this, but it looks to be a productivity site: miro.com. I'm setting up a 'just me' kind of something. Having told it I work in logistics and data science (because you have to say something to get through, and I was all 'yeah, whatever'; the second was because it 'tailors' the options to the job type)

observations

  • the set up is slow.
  • it gave me six options, which included brainstorming, meetings, ?development, and whatever the option I picked.
  • the same list of 'use cases' turns up in a subsequent menu bar: meetings and workshops, brainstorming and ideation, agile workflows, mapping and diagramming, research and design, strategy and planning.

.. I'm not in the market for another electronic organisation tool. I have three that I use at varying levels (trello, habitica, Things) and I'm looking to drop that down to two, because one of them doesn't get used (or rather, two of them get used in ways that overlap to the point that I might as well phase one of them out).

Miro is really helpful as a shared whiteboard - I've used it for agile retrospectives, brainstorming sessions, and similar collaborative work!
