hex plant growing game - quick game, simple mechanics, simple win condition. You have to infer those from your interaction with the page; if it isn't clear leave a comment and I'll explain.

I couldn't get the sudoko land to work - not sure if that is a brower or an extensions issue, but I didn't care to work it out.

liquid measure 2 is a puzzle game of making sure only enough liquid goes through each set of pipes to fill up the container

lemmings - pretty much the puzzle game you think it is. If you don't know which puzzle game it is, you might find it entertaining, but some of the functionality is missing.

Fun little web based game that is based on cursor movements and sound - Find the Invisible Cow. Poor vision friendly, but not poor audition friendly. Have not tried it on a touch pad, just in Safari on the laptop. Simple enough that I would put it in front of a toddler to play with.

I've started playing a picture search game called 'Pearls's Peril', where each time you find the list of (somewhat random) item, you get points towards achievements, and sometimes objects that can be used in other parts of the game. There is also a decorate the space aspect (build things, put in gardens), which the coins and objects from the searches are used for.

i know I'm not explaining it very well, but what I'm interested in is whether there are other games that might be a bit like this, that run on ipad? This one has the limitation that you have to have 'energy' to do a search, and this regenerates at one per twenty minutes to a max of ten. Which means that every two and a half hours I can spend between five and ten minutes playing, and then nothing.

I've found one that looked similar, but was awful (so far - haven't made it out of the interminable tutorial): "Letter Mystery".

Yesterday's ennui turns out to have a physiological cause - woke at 5 am with abdominal pain, which resolved with the usual gastro methods after a few hours. Slightly busier day than I wanted to have on top of that left me with actual headache (all across the front of the face, incluing eyes), so did not to go to airport to wave goodbye to eldest, who is off to Europe on an adventure (along with a class full of other teens).

In random other news, played the 2048 game sufficiently obsessively to win once. Hve not reliable replicated this, so still calling it a fluke.
