... at least, in terms of fatigue/pain conditions.
Dear Concerned Citizen
While I can understand that you might feel that I am not looking after myself well, as I do very little exercise, and you may have read details of studies that have shown that exercise helps some people with depression / anxiety / chronic fatigue, please do not consider it your duty to tell me how I should be managing my chronic pain/fatigue condition. Similarly, please do not consider yourself to be better educated on this topic than I am. Bringing in the differences between your cultural background and what you perceive to be my cultural background isn't going to impress me either.
On a good day, a little gentle exercise, such as walking a few hundred metres, can make me feel much better. On a bad day, getting out of bed makes me dizzy and naseous, and attempting to do much more than that will mean that it takes longer for me to be sufficiently functional in terms of looking after my family.
Your advice is not necessarily helpful. Please ask before offering solutions without sufficient data.
