Today at work, the Just One Thing I want to get done is read Z's document, comment, and return by noon, so that I get a lunch break before meeting with Y. In that meeting *it would be nice* if I can impart enough information that zie can do the repeat analysis (data set has changed due to an additional year of collated data) solo, but at least some teaching would be useful.

For study - I want to read another page. I got lost enough in the math at about page 20 that the english stopped making sense. Given that this was supposed to be a read through to see what the overview was, not helpful. (I'm writing a to do list, that involves all the exercises I haven't done, all the bits I haven't replicated, and all the readings that need me to have accessed the textbook. I'm going to try the library, and hope, if I get a lunch break).

For craft - I'm going to take A's blocks to skating, and see if I can get any two sewn together (a row would be better).

For food - dinner will hopefully be leek and potato soup, but I do have to find a way to add protein (almond meal?)

So, kind of more than one Just One Thing, but only one of them will count...

ETA: Success! Z's document took ~1hour, so the fact that I spent time talking to S about randomised controlled trials and the practicalities of randomisation didn't put me behind schedule. On the gripping hand, Y's data is a disaster. Manual data cleaning is not the way to go. Dinner is in the slow cooker - yes, it is leek and potato (and almond and cashew) soup. It may or may not end up with lots of cheese grated through for other people. Which leaves me needing to pack computer and craft for skating...
