So . . .

. . . is it just me or does it look like Yahoo Japan may have just cracked down on automated shopping services? I have not been able to search for anything using either of the two shopping services I usually use. Both are the kinds where you type in what you're looking for and then it takes you to the Yahoo Japan search results where you can shop to your little heart's content.

Except for the last two days rather then showing me what I want to see I just get a "can't display page" note from Yahoo Japan, yet if I got to Yahoo Japan itself and search it works fine.

So either they've "wised up" (though from a business standpoint its a dumb move to shut out customers) or they've just changed their coding and the shopping services haven't figured it out yet.

*sits back and waits for it to get worked out*

If you find something on Y!J, you take the url and put it in search URL on C!S and it works :) I think it's a problem with the general search function. Maybe it's not compatible with Y!J's updates.

I'm guessing it's just a coding change. Y!J made a few cosmetic changes this week and I wouldn't be surprised if it's interfered with the shopping services' templates.
