to all who thought you could pick up your final transcripts on monday, you will not be able to.
i went in this morning like a minute ago and i asked her [berenice is her name i think] if i could pick them up on monday and she looked at me like i was crazy. she said they might be done at the end of next week. i think if we get them the following monday, the 11th, and mail them that day they will get to colleges by the 15th. if you need the number/extension tell me

STUDENT ARRESTED IN DEATH OF BABY
A Grant High School student was arrested on the suspicion of a murder Thursday after an autopsy revealed that the baby girl she had given birth to in her rented Pacoima room had been asphyxiated, authorities said.
Jeanne Ma, 18, remained at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, where she was taken Wednesday after she gave birth at her home in the 13000 block of Goleta Street, LAPD Officer Don Cox said.
Police found the body of the full-term baby girl, which Ma said was stillborn, in the trash can behind her home after she told officers where to find it, police said.

hey guys, my names christine, im part of the senior leadership class and i'm here to update you seniors on some upcoming senior events.
-monday, october 18th: Senior brunch
-october 18-22 our first senior spirit week: we will be having a senior apparel fashion show, and the release of the apparel on thursday.
-the senior news letter will be released this upcoming week. this will help the senior class stay updated on upcoming senior events.

so...as many of you may already know, there has been absolute chaos at grant within the science dept, as well as other departments since they've had to change classes around.
the administration is pretty stupid if they want to get rid of one of the best teachers at grant.
i really think that if you guys are upset enough about this, you should call or have your parents call ms cruz, the principal. this is such a big issue, i mean they say that they need less part time teachers but theyre neglecting quality; whats better: higher scores = more state money, or a cheaper teacher with lower scores = less money.
grant is pretty much going downhill FAST...with all these great teachers leaving this year. i'm glad i will be leaving too, i just feel bad for the new generations of students
