 What a wonderful news that Kakà & his lovely wife Carol shared with us on their Twitter accounts this afternoon; Carol is 4 months pregnant with a little girl Friends, fans & family, we are all really happy with this news and we wish them twice more happiness! Parabens!

And as good news never comes alone, Mano Menezes (Brazil coach) said he counts on Kakà in 2011. Futhermore, Mourinho is waiting for Kakà’s return to strengthen the team: “Kaka can be the best signing of the winter, because there is no player of his quality on the market. Kaka is our solution.”

So, we all know that Ricky had just gone through surgery for his knee injury and according to reports, the surgery went 'well'. But how well did it go? How is Ricky actually doing now?

I can't find an article in English, so I am just summarizing (not translating) what is on the Real Madrid website.



Basically, as we know, Kaká had joined the Real Madrid team in Los Angeles a couple days ago for training. However, while undergoing medical examinations, the doctors found that he has an injury in the meniscus of his left knee. As a result, Kaká has gone to Belgium to see a specialist. He might undergo surgery there as well.

So no, he will not be playing in either Real Madrid friendly in the United States.

I hope he gets better soon :( This is really sad/unfortunate/depressing...

 As reported by AS, new Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is concerned about Brazilian midfielder Kaka's physical condition. In the wake of the attacking midfielder's problems with injury last season and revelations that the player still felt pain during the World Cup and was only able to play at 85 per cent fitness, the Special One has reportedly paid close attention to the Brazilian's training regimen as Los Blancos continue their pre-season preparations in Los Angeles.

As such, Mourinho has met with the footballer along with his training and medical staff to discuss a physical therapy plan to return the player to his best. The plan is designed to help the player strengthen the area in question (groin and abdominal muscles) and Kaka will be subject to a lighter workload in normal training in an effort to do work on recovering from his persistent sports hernia injury. The Madrid medical staff have agreed with the Brazilian Football Federation, who examined Kaka during the World Cup, that surgery is not necessary.

Kaka arrived in the United States to join Madrid on Saturday and has taken a limited part in training sessions so far, doing specific physical therapy work outside of training to strengthen his abdominal muscles and put his injury woes behind him.
