Disappearing...

I think it's only fair to say that I will be unable to continue the rp we started as several RL issues have come up which are now consuming most, if not all, of my time:
Issue 1: School. I have started full time education at Edsion State College. This means I be spending at least 15 hours a week studying (for one course). I have another course I will be taking which is writing intensive, and that course will interrupt my free time.
Issue 2: Volunteer Work: I am currently volunteering in the rehab department at Fawcett Memorial Hospital (Ties in with my career goal), as well as I volunteer at my church both acting as assistant youth leader and singing in our church praise and worship band.

As much as I'd like to stay and rp with you all, and as much as I've enjoyed this experience, I feel that due to my life becoming more and more busy it's not fair on the rest you for me to show up then disappear like I've done. Basically, by leaving the rp "hanging" or in "limbo", I have left the rest of the group at a disadvantage. I take rping seriously in that I like to do my research and plan out in advance how to set up a dungeon etc...in order to make everyone experience a good one.

Unfortunately, I will no longer be able to continue to do that.

Thank you very much for taking the time to rp with me. Thank you for being lovely rp partners and friends. Now I must lift off the crown of King Max and hand over the cyborg Bunnie Rabbot, and bid you all a fond farewell.

All right. For some strange reason I can't get my <lj user="blue_katri"> account to post here. So, here  I go.

I see that I haven't been the only one whose fallen out of the RP loop here. I assure you, I didn't leave you by choice.
College was chaos and I barely had time to breathe, much less check my email.

But, I'm back at home for the Christmas break, with a lot more time on my hands.  I hope to be able to continue playing with you guys over the break, if that's all right.

Hi I'm just touching base with you all. We are moved over, but still in a transition stage as we are apartment/house hunting.

Once things become more stable I will be able to post more. :(

Hurricanes and Moving
Hi

Just a fast update.

As of October 1st I will be scarce from the internet nevermind being able to RP the way I'd like to. This is due to the fact that I am going to be moving to the USA, I will be trying to wrap up the rp involving Gehenna and the Cathedral in this time period of the next two weeks. I want to push the characters through so that the rest of you can start your own RP w/o waiting on me.

I have really enjoyed rping with everyone, and I understand that due to events beyond everyones control we have all been all over the place and posting has been for the most part difficult. I am so glad people have been extremely patient and understanding during this time. For those who are new to this game I welcome you, and encourage you to enjoy the forums. To really throw yourself into the game and make it work for you.

Okay. Just a short announcement. For those who have been keeping in contact with me on AIM, I've had to change my screenname today. My new screenname on AIM is Trouble Fire Cat.

Also, again, I'm sorry for continuously holding threads up like I have, though I know I've already said that a dozen times, but I have a question for Ixus-mun.

Knuckles has a really good sense of the Master Emerald shards, so how is it that Team Sonic is apparently going the wrong way? We really should discuss these things more. :/

Possible Future Arc
I was thinking about the likelihood of Robotnik and Snively really accomplishing what they did without any outside help, and decided that is wasn't really probable. However, in one episode Robotnik mentions that he needed to go to a meeting with his generals. I wondered who these generals were. Advanced SWATBots perhaps, or maybe sympathetic Mobians (like in Sonic Underground)? We never see them. That got me thinking that perhaps the conflict was much bigger in scope then just Robotroplis, the Great Forest, and the surrounding areas. Maybe it includes far off lands. One thing that got me was that SWATBots were being pumped out of factories around the clock, yet we never saw a built up of them in the city, and Robotnik certainly never used his legions against the Freedom Fighters. So I think that the SWATBots that were hot of the production line may have been sent to armies of Robotnik's generals, who were off fighting wars in far off lands.

My idea for an arc is that with reinforcements halted these generals may send scouts back to find out what happened (with the city destroyed the generals might not have contact with each other). On discovery of the destroyed city they fortify their lands and transform them into feudal styled states (they might have already been setup this way, sending tribute back to Robotnik). The arc could revolve around the Freedom Fighters and allies taking out these feudal lords, or visa versa.

Each feudal state could be different. One being primarily of peasants farming food for their master (the generals may not have access to a robotizer like Robotnik so they still have living things under them), another being like an occupied territory with Mobains working both for the lord and against (collaborators and partisans).

Okay, guys.
I know I've been absent for some time, and I'm sorry; I just assumed everyone had lost interest after replies to the post in hiddenknothole went silent for so long. Imagine my surprise when I popped in on a whim and found a few posts! Anyway, is anyone still interested in picking up again? I won't trail off again if it goes silent; I suppose I should be trying to think of more ways to prod people into action myself...
