Welcome To Knothole Central!

This is the jumpoff point for the Knothole Roleplaying Game here on Livejournal. Here, you can ask for help, read the rules, discuss new applicants, and just have fun! Personal announcements such as introducing yourself when you join or telling us when you're on vacation/swamped by real life/otherwise on hiatus are posted here, and each member is allowed one advertisement and one meme per month. (If you respond to a meme post, please post your response in the comments so the front page doesn't get flooded.) Knothole Central is also where any OOC disputes will be discussed and resolved. Please keep all discussions civil!

Knothole Central is a lenient message board; we only ask that lengthy or graphics-heavy text be placed under a cut and that all SatAM and Archie discussions not pertaining to the game be taken to knothole. (They need love too!) KC should also be kept to a PG-13, worksafe level - please use your common sense here, and avoid graphic content or icons as well as keeping foul language to a minimum. If you feel the words necessary, please grace us with an LJ Cut.

Where Else Can I Go?

Once you've applied and been accepted, there are seven game communities and three OOC communities(including KC)to play with.

In-game
hiddenknothole - The home of Princess Sally's Freedom Fighters, nestled in the Great Forest. This is where the Knothole Freedom Fighters can plan, recover, or just hang out. Only select characters, listed here, may post and respond in hiddenknothole unless an approved Knotholer is introducing a new ally or an enemy has a really good(mod-approved)reason for being there.
thegreatforest - It's a big forest - there's more to it than just Knothole! This is where the Freedom Fighters can train, relax... or deal with enemy attempts to find the village. Anyone can post here.
darkrobotroplis - The home of Snively, Robotnik, and good old Uncle Chuck. This is where the bulk of Freedom Fighter missions(official or otherwise)will take you, and anyone can post here.
lowermobius - The underground sanctuary beneath the city. The occasional mission(or narrow escape)will take you here. Only Lower Mobius denizens and their guests, or outside Freedom Fighters brought in by necessity, may post here.
wolfscanyon - The home of Lupe's Wolfpack is open to pack members and guests.
kh_greatunknown - The treacherous, seemingly barren wilds outside the canyon are ideal for weapons testing, training, and the occasional treasure or artifact hunt. Anyone can post.
greatermobius - There's a whole planet to explore - get to it! This is for locations not specifically covered by other communities; if a location becomes prominent enough, it may be given a community in the future. Anyone may post here.

Out of Game
knotholecentral - You're standing in it: the place where rules are covered, disputes settled, newly claimed characters are noted, and new story threads are advertised.
visualknothole - This is where you can post(or request)game and SatAM-related sigtags, character art, and icons.
knotholetales - Another place to advertise your new story arc. This is also where completed arcs are summarized, and the occasional fanfic is welcome too!
